Google released Google Earth 7 for Windows, Mac and Linux, adding a feature that was already available on iPad, iPhone, Android tablets and smartphones.
These are virtual city tours, reconstructed with completely 3D images .
With Google Earth it almost seems to travel from above by plane and fly over the cities to see their monuments, squares and real streets, completely rebuilt in 3D.
UPDATE: New Google Earth to see the world in 3D on PC and smartphone is only online. Those who want to download the Google Earth program can download Google Earth Pro, which is version 7.
With Google Earth 7 on Windows, Linux and Mac PCs you can, as usual, travel the world and zoom in on a particular city. Below are images that are the virtual tours available nearby. By clicking on one of these images, the flight over the area begins as if you were watching a tourist video. The difference is that, during the guided tour, you can zoom and turn the frame to look at all the details, in high definition, of a monument or a precise point. During the virtual visit there are also captions that describe what you are seeing.
Rome has been rebuilt almost entirely in 3D and there are tours to look down on the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Villa deste, San Pietro and much more.
