Receive replies to another email address

If you want to change your e-mail address or if you use two or more accounts and only one of these is the main one you go to, it can be useful to configure a different reply address than the address you use when sending a message.
We have already seen, in other articles, the guides to send Email from Gmail with another email address and also to import Free Email, Yahoo and others accounts into Outlook.com.
In this case we see instead how to receive replies on another email address to messages sent by Gmail, for example to send messages from an account that you plan to stop using or for security reasons, because you use two addresses one to send email the other to receive.
Whatever the reason, you can add a second reply to Gmail in a very simple way.
Open the Gmail inbox, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and then go to the settings to open all the Gmail options.
Switch to the Account and import tab and under the Send message as: section, on the right side, click the Edit information link next to our email address.
In the window that opens you can change the name and click on the link " specify a different address for the answers ".
In this configuration form you can enter another email address, any and not necessarily Gmail and then press Save to confirm the operation.
There really is nothing else to do.
From now on, when someone replies to one of the messages we send from our Gmail address, their reply will automatically go to the mailbox set, to the specified Email address.
I remember that with Gmail it is also possible to do more and use the Google mail management site to manage the emails of any other account.
Reference to the guides:
- Import and manage other Email accounts in Gmail with multiple boxes
- Automatic forwarding in Gmail and Outlook.com to turn emails to another address
