Which programs should never be installed on the Windows PC

If you are a reader of this blog or if you happen to accidentally read this article here, you probably don't just stop at Pom-HeyWEB! but (unfortunately) also visit other similar sites or blogs.
The difference is that here, you find only the best applications and programs while elsewhere there is everything and more including a lot of junk.
So, if you like to tinker and learn to use the computer in order to maximize its performance, you will already be aware of what should never be installed on the PC, even if it is reported by the strongest computer expert in the world (no, I am not yet I... ).
But the most infamous problem arises when a new laptop is already pre-installed, with lots of useless programs inside.
Always remember that the word Freeware and Opensource, always indicate free and free programs, the word Shareware indicates programs that after a period of time stop working because they are to be purchased, the word AdAware indicates free software but with advertising.

The list of what should never stay installed on your computer starts here but you will certainly need your help to be integrated and contemplate all the possible useless software and programs to never install on the PC that are on the network.
1) Never install more than one antivirus, antispyware or firewall.
Antiviruses are special programs, and even if 10 different antiviruses are installed on a computer, only one works.
If you are lucky, the one that works does not have problems but in some cases, even what is activated to protect becomes unstable and causes serious system errors.
In my experience I have seen people with even three antiviruses installed: one because it is free, one because it is recommended by the expert friend, the last one because it was already pre-installed by the shop where he bought it.
If system stability problems can arise for antivirus, this does not happen if you install three or four antispyware, but if the PC takes an hour to start, you know who is to blame.
Again with regard to antivirus, beware of fake antivirus that are malware to be removed.
2) At most, install a single toolbar on your browser to surf the internet (like Internet Explorer or Firefox), no more.
The problem here always comes from the experience of using the computer and the deception of the houses that distribute free software.
The toolbars are those menu bars that are placed on Internet Explorer, under the bar where internet addresses are written.
The most famous and probably the only ToolBar that has some practical utility is that of Google.
Then there are, alternatively and not in addition, the Yahoo, Live or Bing and Ask toolbars which are the other search engines.
If all four were present, the PC screen would be covered by menu bars and the space for reading a website would become very small.
There are also much more serious cases that occur when you download particular free programs which, in the installation process, ask whether or not to install their bar on Explorer.
If you absentmindedly press "Next" or "Yes" you will find a useless toolbar that most likely acts as malware and captures your browsing data.
Finally, the behavior of some Italian blogs that, as a strategy to retain readers, force them to happen on their site and promote their personal toolbar "to read the articles in preview".
If you have more than one Toolbar, right click on an empty space in the Internet Explorer or Firefox menu and remove the flags on the toolbars to make them disappear; then from the application installation menu located on the control panel, uninstall them and remove them one by one .
3) Not recommended to install applications and programs that exploit graphics too much and shoot it on the desktop such as, for example, the famous incredimail.
Apart from the fact that incredimail in particular is a paid program and the free version is full of advertisements, then, using this type of program, it weighs down the PC and slows down its performance.
For example, the infamous Incredimail, when a new message arrives, does not signal it with a sober "You have received a message" but an animated character appears, like an avatar that hops and does somersaults.
In some cases, this character takes the whole ram of the computer and every time a new email arrives, the pc stops working for 5 or 10 seconds.
4) Always about graphics, it is wrong to install too many graphical additions to Windows, such as, for example, the start menus, the start bars, the various tools that make the weather forecast appear on the desktop, those that put a notebook, the animated calendar and so on.
I also like these embellishments but one thing is to customize the existing one, another is instead to add new elements.
So don't exaggerate improving Windows graphics, just put what you need (you won't always be checking the weather, no "> Acrobat reader is heavy and there are lighter programs; Nero is paid and big, there are identical alternatives for free) and more immediate, choose a single Office suite, or Microsoft or OpenOffice, Consider the alternatives to Itunes and try to eliminate Quicktime, Uninstall the useless Real Player and so on (here you have to help me ..).
To conclude, I point out a very nice program, Slim Computer, useful for finding and removing unnecessary programs and toolbars, especially when you buy a new and pre-installed laptop, full of trial versions that stop working after a month, such as: Roxio, Norton, MusicMatch, Sonic, Quicken, Pc-Chillin, Microsoft Office and others.
Finally, I remember that there are ways to do tests and trials on windows by installing programs in virtual environments and I report the SandBoxie program treated in another post and very useful to isolate the system from possible threats.
