Publish photos in Google Earth with Panoramio

Probably someone, opening Google Earth, will have noticed that some images appear on the map.
Typically they are photographs of the places that come from the Panoramio website, an online service that allows you to share digital photos of certain places around the world .
The main difference between this and the sites similar to Picasaweb or Flickr and all the other sites to share and create online photo collections, is the fact that Panoramio integrates into Google Earth so you can see where the photo was taken on a map.
Let's see how to publish a photo in Google Earth and share them on Panoramio .
Thanks to Panoramio you can look at photos of some popular places while looking for them on the map.
Panoramio is owned by Google, it is little known but it is absolutely a useful service with which anyone can share a photo visible in Google Earth or Google Maps, from all over the world.
For example, you can upload the photo of your home and put it at your address or you can show everyone the photo taken at a suggestive view or a monument.
To use Panoramio (it no longer exists, it is now replaced by the function to upload photos to Google Maps) and to share your photo you must register using a Google or Gmail account.
Once the registration phase is over, you can press the " upload photo " button to upload one or more images to the site and give them one or more tags (label).
For each photo uploaded, click on " Map this photo ", enter the name of the city in the search field and then, on the map that appears, move the pointer to the exact address or to the point to which the photograph refers.
The now uploaded image will not be immediately visible to everyone, it will take some time but, I can assure you, it will appear and will also be published on Google Earth .
