Schedule the sending of Email in Gmail at a future date

One of the best features that had the Inbox version of Gmail, now retired, was to be able to send an email choosing when to send it to the recipient. Fortunately Google has recovered that inBox function and implemented it in Gmail where it is now possible to schedule the sending of an email both from the app and from the website .
You can, therefore, write a new message in Gmail and then plan to send it later by choosing the time and also the day . This allows, for example, to write important emails at night to make them arrive during office hours or to send birthday greetings programmed for the right day so as not to forget.

Gmail will take care of sending the message on the set date and time.
Scheduled emails can be reviewed, modified or canceled and deleted by going to the general list of message categories. Then, on the app, touch the menu with three lines to find the In Program label which contains the messages with programmed sending.
You can also schedule an email from the Gmail site, where next to the Send button, in the email writing window, you can see a down arrow. By pressing the arrow, you can choose the Schedule the Send option. By choosing a future date, you can postpone the sending of the email on the desired day and time.
Also from the site it is possible to cancel the scheduling of a message and review the programmed emails from the list of labels, in the " in Program " section.
With Gmail it is possible to plan in advance all the messages you want, to make them reach future recipients, even after years, up to 49 years in the future.
This feature is different from the one that allows you to postpone an email received so that you can receive it again and view it as unread on a future date.
