Organize activities, projects and group work with Trello on PC, Mac, tablet and smartphone

Trello is a relatively new app for project management that can easily be considered the best ever, when it comes to free apps, and perhaps even in general.
It is a great application that makes collaboration simple and, I dare say, fun thanks to a completely visual tool, easy to use and very powerful to organize any type of activity, both personal and professional, whether they are work projects, or daily family chores, also excellent for developing travel plans, parties, events or anything else .
As an advanced Project Management tool, Trello greatly facilitates group activities by allowing each person to contribute by adding activities, asking questions or even giving instructions to others.
The best part is that Trello can be used as a web application, iPHone app, iPad and Android devices, as a Windows 10 and Mac app, for free .
To get started, simply register for an account on the Trello.com website and then open the project as an example.
As you can see right away, Trello is basically a web page divided into various columns which are lists of activities related to that project.
The elements inside the lists, called cards, can be dragged with the mouse between the lists and reordered as desired.
Each card can contain selection lists, images, attachments, expiration dates, colored labels and discussion notes shared with the group.
Each row can be searched from the box above, can be shared and can become a reminder.
From the right column it is possible to invite other people to participate in the project and, in the list under the word Add Members, all that has been done is collected, in chronological order.
The most obvious way to use Trello is to follow and organize team projects and activities, but being free, it is not only oriented to the world of work, but also to personal things to do on a daily basis .
You can also use Trello as a weekly planner, with to-do lists for each day of the week.
Every day is therefore a list to which the various activities can be added, with timetables and descriptions.
For example, I might have a card to plan which articles I need to do for the blog every day of the week.
A student could use Trello to organize schoolwork or studies to prepare for the exam.
at the end you will have an overall organizational framework all in one page, from very easy reading and at a glance thanks to the colored labels.
From the menu in the right column you can add Power Ups, labels, filters and recognition stickers .
Power ups are of three types: ballot papers, to put a proposal to the vote with other members, filter the cards by seniority and enable the calendar view.
The calendar can also be synchronized with an external program in Trello.
If you have repetitive activities, to avoid inserting them always the same in new cards, you can connect Trello to the Zapier online service to schedule the creation of cards every day, week or month.
Zapier is a web app similar to IFTTT for creating automatic actions on online activities.
Trello works great for managing group activities with the Kanban organizational system .
In the Kanban method, the entire workflow is organized visually, with different columns such as: to be done, in progress, made (for example, you can start from this public tab in Trello).
Trello is inspired by the Kanban method and is therefore perfect for managing projects at all levels, even for great managers.
You can also use Trello as a message board for a group of friends or family organization, creating a list for each person, where each card can be a simple message from other members, a reminder, an assigned task or a proposal to be vote.
You could also have a list of everything to do so that group members can report what they have done with real-time updates.
Other examples for the use of Trello can be group travel and holidays, weddings, parties or large events.
The only flaw with Trello is that it is all in English and can take some time to become familiar (although being all visual and customizable it will take very little).
You can use Trello for free via the website or you can download Trello as an app for Android and iPhone or even as a program for PC and Mac .
To start there is a page of templates to start new projects without starting from scratch and that of the pre-set pages (boards).
On the official blog of the application there are instructions for becoming expert with Trello.
In conclusion, Trello is today the best among the apps for managing projects and online activities, with infinite possibilities of use, free, modern, inspired by the theories of business organization, but good for anything.
