Virtual transformations and animations of the face in a photo or video message

In this article I would like to go back to talking about a site already met twice during this blog, which this time deserves all the attention because it offers unique, innovative and truly beautiful web applications. The common thing about these web applications is the ability, starting from a photo, to transform the face and animate it virtually as if it were a digital character.
The site we are talking about is called Oddcast and has already been seen in two articles with two web applications that, if they had not been seen in the past, I really recommend trying:
- BabyMaker 3000 to see what a child will look like starting from the photos of two possible parents
- Photoface to create a 3D animated avatar from a photo of your face and with the voice of yourself.

Now let's go and explore the Oddcast Animations, a list of animated photomontages to really scroll to the end.
Other sites and apps with virtual face transformations are:
1) Snapchat creates Deepfake videos with your face automatically, with the function of the Cameos that we talked about in another article.
2) MP Change is a Japanese site where the animated face can wear new haircuts, beards and mustaches.
3) Monk-E-Mail is a simpler web application but always developed with Oddcast technology. It is a tool for sending a voice video message via email to someone using the face of an animated monkey . The monkey will have the chosen physiognomy with the options available and the voice message can be recorded via microphone or using text-to-speech. The monkey animation can also be used as a mobile video ringtone and, believe me, it can be much better than what you see on TV advertising (comma and company).
4) The Dark Knight, on the other hand, is a game, where you just have to insert your own photo to see yourself as the protagonist in a film scene of the "Dark Knight".
To try, it is certainly effective, even if, finally, but it gives me the opportunity to report another similar online service that allows you to insert yourself in a film.
My Movie Moment is a web application where you can replace the face of the protagonist of a film, with your own, to interpret what you want, between horror videos and funny films. Just load the front photo of your face, adjust the facial features and you can view the video with the new protagonist. The video can be sent by email to whoever you want.
5) Virtual Self is the newest web application, similar to Photoface, which, I'm sure, will arouse more wonder. It is a very elaborate web application that allows, by uploading a photo of yourself, to create a face in three dimensions and perfectly animated with a high degree of realism . You have to upload your own facial photograph, taken in front, with no hair in front, with open eyes and without objects covering parts of the face. Once loaded, the result will be a moving avatar that will be able to speak with some configured phrases. Further developments of this application, for now mostly demonstrative, therefore I recommend keeping the Virtual Self site as a favorite.
6) On Slurpee (no longer exists) you can use the animated Oddcast effect in a very strange but fun scenario, with a helmet on your head, choose a Slurp drink and see the animation of the animated effect that gives the feeling of freshness. Your crazy animation can be shared via email, facebook and via URL or website code.
7) TrekYOurself allows you to transform your face into a Star Trek character of your choice, including Spock, the famous Vulcan with pointed ears.
