Hide Displayed and is writing in Facebook chat

One of the most annoying features of Facebook is that during a chat conversation both participants are told whether the other is writing or not.
As if that wasn't enough then Facebook also warns the user if the other has read the last message.
In practice, when chatting with someone, it is impossible to pretend nothing or not to have read the message and you must also write the answer quickly enough not to make an impression of what the hours think about to find an answer or something to to write.
Facebook does not give the possibility to hide its chat behavior, but you can use an extension for Google Chrome that prevents others from knowing if we are writing and if we have read their messages .
The extension is Facebook Privacy Chat, available for now only on Google Chrome, which is mainly used to receive notifications on the desktop from Facebook chat.
Notification is the main function of this extension which becomes useful for staying in touch with friends without having to keep Facebook open.
The best feature of this extension, however, is the ability to prevent friends from seeing when viewing a message sent by them and also to hide them when we are writing the message in chat .
The extension is very simple and, once installed, you have to click on the Facebook Chat Pro button, enter Settings and then enable the two options that begin with "Prevent ...".
You can disable notifications whenever you want or, from the Chrome extensions management menu, disable it when you don't need it and reactivate it when necessary.
In another article we had also seen another alternative extension, FB Unseen to disable the confirmation of reading messages on Facebook
