The extension that keeps Chrome light and fast without killing your PC

We have often praised Google for its Chrome browser, always updated and every month with some new function that makes it increasingly indispensable for those who work and surf the internet.
Chrome is now so equipped with applications and plugins that calling it just a browser also becomes an understatement.
Google Chrome is now almost a real operating system, capable of replacing Windows on some PCs called Chromebooks.
The downside of so much multi-valence and extensibility is its heaviness .
When used completely, with extensions, applications and opening many tabs, 10 or even more, at the same time, Chrome is capable of killing even the newest PC, devouring all the RAM memory and forcing the user to stop what he was doing, open the Chrome task manager and forcefully close the tabs that take up more memory.
This pachydermic size of Chrome is the main flaw of this web browser, which forces the computer to slow down, waste energy and push the fans to the maximum.
Luckily there is a great solution to the problem thanks to an extension, not new but increasingly appreciated these days, which keeps Chrome light and fast at all times, without running the risk of seeing it lock your PC, leaving us open as many cards we want without problems.
The chrome-saving extension is called The Great Suspender, which really works in a simple way, suspending the tabs that you are not looking at after a certain period of time.
So if we have opened 10, 15 0 even 30 tabs of different sites and start focusing on one or two of them, the extension suspends all the others, if we have not clicked them for 10 minutes.
Suspending a tab in Chrome means removing it from memory, without closing it.
In fact, the form is terminated by making the site you were looking at disappear.
However, if you go back to that tab and click anywhere, that web page is reloaded immediately.
The suspended cards are recognizable by the tab of the card, a little nuanced.
Suspending tabs is really effective at keeping Chrome fast and light because it prevents memory overhead.
It is also useful in case you want to keep Chrome open without wasting memory while playing or working with other programs.
In The Great Suspender options, accessible by pressing the right mouse button on the extension button at the top right, you can set the period of inactivity time after which to suspend the card (I put an hour).
You can also prevent the suspension of cards on which you are writing or where you are filling out a form, you can create a list of sites that should never be suspended, you can request to reload the site automatically, just by clicking on the card and activating the suspend only when the laptop battery is almost empty.
Another option is that of the " Screen Capture " which allows you to keep the last image of the site you were looking at on the suspended board (and not a simple gray background).
So if you often have the problem of a Chrome browser that paralyzes or kills computer performance, this is the most effective solution.
