The history of voice commands recorded as audio files by Google

This surprised me too.
We already knew that Google keeps historical data on everything we do through its apps and websites.
We have seen how to verify this data in the online privacy control panel of the Google account where you can also see the searches made on Youtube and the places where we have been, recorded by Google Maps on your smartphone.
Everything can be disabled or deleted, but by default, Google records everything we do, even the voice .
Everything we say by voice on an Android smartphone using the Google Now app and the Ok Google command is recorded in audio files that are kept by Google and that can be listened to at any time.
Google not only listens to the searches we do verbally but is therefore also able to record and store them.
Now, everyone knows that searches made on the internet are recorded and the same goes for those done verbally, and so far we have no news.
What is surprising is that Google records the sound of our voice and saves it on their servers.
In practice, what we say by voice on the smartphone is saved in playable audio files.
Those who do not believe it and those who have used Google Now at least once by voice on their Android smartphone, can go and listen to their own voice by visiting the page of the vocal and audio activity where all the audio files are collected in chronological order.
You can listen to what has been said by pressing the Play button next to each item.
As it is written at the top of the page, this data is private and visible only to us so there is no danger that someone will hear our voice and what we have been looking for.
If this annoys you, you can delete the voice recordings in a very simple way from the same page of Voice and audio activity.
You can then select each item and press the Delete button at the top.
You can also stop the audio recording of Google Now by going to this page by scrolling down and turning off the Ok Google switch.
The consequence of turning off personalized voice recognition is that the Google Now assistant will be less precise in responding to our spoken commands on the smartphone.
If you want, as seen in another article, you can always disable the voice recognition Ok Google on Android .
