The Facebook site on Chrome sends notifications like the app

Facebook mobile, i.e. the Facebook website when opened from a mobile phone, has added a very advantageous new function: the ability to send notifications .
This small but important change makes it possible for everyone to give up the main Facebook application and still remain connected and online to the social network while still receiving notifications and messages.
The Facebook.com site notifications will only work if you log in with your account from the Chrome browser, for now only on Android.
From now, open m.facebook.com on Chrome and wait a few seconds to see a popup appear at the bottom asking if the site can send notifications to the mobile phone .
If you accept the request, the Facebook site will display the notifications on the top bar of Android as if they came from an application.
If you refuse the request, you can go back to the decision and activate Facebook.com notifications by going to the Chrome settings on your mobile phone, to the site settings section, then to Notifications and removing the block.
Using Facebook from Chrome instead of from the application guarantees a marked improvement in the performance of the phone (if it is a smartphone with not too much RAM memory) and also allows you to save space on the internal archive since the Facebook app is very large.
