Turn off fast charging on Samsung Galaxy

Among the best features of the Samsung Galaxy there is certainly the fast charging mode that allows you to have an autonomy energy card for the battery with only a few minutes of charging.
To know if the mobile phone is charging quickly, just note, with the screen off, the fast charge icon.
This mobile phone charging mode, supported by Samsung Galaxy S6 and S7 and Note 5 with Android MarshMellow and also present in smartphones of other brands, is especially useful when in a hurry, you are about to go out and the phone is almost empty or for others urgent moments, but it is not to be used always and habitually, because in the long run it can have negative effects on the performance of the mobile phone and the battery itself.
The problem is related to the heat and overheating of the device which is generated by fast charging especially in summer in hot environments.
The advice is therefore, in these cases, to disable fast charging from the Samsung Galaxy or other smartphones .
This option is found in the General Settings that appear by pulling down the notification bar and tapping the gear icon in the upper right corner.
Go to the battery section, scroll down the menu to find the two options for fast cable charging and wireless fast charging .
Alternatively, leaving the two options active, just know that fast charging does not work if you use a standard USB charger that does not support " fast charging " or Quick Charge 2.0 mode .
