Create a VPN to play online by simulating a LAN

If we think about the Fastweb network, analyzing it in detail, we realize that it is a VPN, that is a virtual subnet where all users go out on the internet with the same IP address but, within the network, they can exchange files at very high speed . To put several computers on the network, located far from each other and surfing the net with different providers and that you don't see at all, you can create a private VPN, easy to use and install, that works for peer-to file exchange -peer and to create servers accessible from the outside to play online.
This operation which seems of who knows what difficulty, is instead made by a simple free program developed by the company LogMeIn, which is called Hamachi . Hamachi, using a normal Internet connection, can connect up to 16 computers for free in a VPN to communicate directly, safely and securely. Once the program is installed, a virtual private network is created immediately, if you choose the name, a password is set and your PC is identified with a name that will allow the other PCs that connect to recognize it. Hamachi assigns a virtual IP address to all the PCs connected in the new virtual VPN . Having created a virtual network means that the computers are connected to each other, they see each other on the network and can exchange data; anyone authorized to connect to their private network will be able to view, download and even edit shared content.
When two or more PCs are configured with Hamachi it is as if they were physically connected in the same local network, this allows you to remotely manage a series of typical LAN applications, as well as being able to use any connected PC to function as a Server .
Unfortunately it has a limit : all PCs that enter the Hamachi VPN must necessarily, in addition to being connected to the internet, not have firewalls that prevent Hamachi from making computers communicate. So if one of the PCs you want to connect to is behind a corporate firewall or behind a proxy, it won't work.
The main functions of Hamachi are in the field of online video games and, by searching on Google, there are many servers for the most famous games and in sharing music, videos and files in general as if you were in Lan (for example with sharing Windows folders). Sometimes to play many online video games you need to have the original game and rely on the servers managed by the manufacturer. In fact, it is possible to play online by creating a private LAN on the Internet, in a way that is very simple.
Hamachi's problem is that it's not free.
