How to make labels with Word

We have some adhesive sheets to print the labels but we don't know any program to fill them "> How to align on Word
1) How to make identical labels with Word
To create sheets full of labels (all the same or different), we create a new Word document, select the Letters tab at the top left and finally click on the Labels button.

In the window that we will see, make sure we are in the Labels tab, then click on the Options button to choose the type of labels to be printed; the program will show us a series of examples and sizes, it is up to us to choose the one that best suits our needs.

To make the labels truly unique, we use the Label supplier drop-down menu to select the manufacturer of the labels to be used, so let's focus on Label information to view all the information on the number of labels per sheet and on the dimensions that the individual labels will have once printed. At the top we can change the settings relating to the printer: if we have a continuous feed printer, we tick the relevant item so we can print faster.
The label templates in Word don't satisfy you ">
When we are satisfied with the result, we click OK to confirm the customization.
Whatever the path taken, in the main window for creating the labels we type the text to be printed in the Address field.
To finish, click on Print to start printing the labels or on the New document button, so that we can preview the document before proceeding with printing (highly recommended in case we had customized the labels and wanted to create different labels) .
2) How to make different labels with Word
If we need more than one different label, open Word and go to the Letters menu, click on Start mail merge and select the item Labels .

In the new window, we select the type and number of labels we want to print (with all the changes already seen previously) then click OK .
This time we open the Layout menu at the top right and click on the View grid button to view all the labels in grid format.
For each label we fill in the fields with personalized text and, when ready, we start printing your labels by clicking on the File button and clicking on the Print item.
3) Customize the label texts and add images
To customize the text inside the labels, we will have to use the tools made available by Word for editing the text: let's go to the Home menu and customize, in the top bar, the colors, the dimensions and the writing font.

If we want to add even a small image, we can do it by going to the Insert menu and clicking on the Images items (if the image to be used is present in the PC memory) or Online images (to use the images available on the Internet).

Obviously, resize everything so that you also see the text next to the image.
4) How to make labels on LibreOffice Writer
We can't afford the paid Office license and we need to create the labels "> LibreOffice.
Inside the suite you can use the Writer program (the equivalent of Word) to be able to create your own labels.
Then open Writer on our computer, click on the top left on File -> New and select the item Labels among those present in the drop-down menu.

A window will open in the foreground, where we can customize the label by choosing the type, brand, size on the sheet and any tables or databases.

We can insert the contents of the labels in the Label text field, while if we need further customizations just click on the Format and Options tabs at the top of the window.
To insert more text, change the formatting or insert images and graphic effects, we enable the Synchronize content item in the Options tab.
At the end of the creation we click on New document to open the sheet with the preview of the labels created.
To print them, just click on File -> Print or use the keyboard shortcut CTRL + P.
When you print the document, you will be asked to print in letter format; we can answer Yes to open the Mail Merge dialog window , so we can select the number of labels to be printed and whether to print others with different content.
