Create new custom detachable toolbars in Windows 7, 8 and 10

In Windows XP and earlier versions it was possible to create independent toolbars from all folders and arrange them where you wanted, perhaps anchoring them to one of the edges of the screen.
By right-clicking on the taskbar at the bottom, in Windows XP you can create a new toolbar that contains the files of a folder of your choice and that you can also detach and drag wherever you want. The contents of that folder then become available on the new toolbar as a bar for quick file start.
This feature does not exist in Windows 10 and Windows 7, where you can create a toolbar but you cannot detach it from the main application bar and therefore you cannot drag it as if it were a separate control panel.
The fact is that Windows 10 uses Jumplists for quick launching programs from the taskbar.
If you want to create independent toolbars and docks in Windows 10, 8 and 7 as push-button panels for launching files or commands, you can use an external tool.
1) OldBar is a handy portable program, also in Italian, which allows you to create independent and detachable toolbars, from all folders, just like you can do in good old Windows XP.
The new toolbars can be anchored to the edges of the screen regardless of the position of the taskbar which can then be held at the bottom. To create a new toolbar, simply double-click on the downloaded Oldbar executable file which automatically creates a new empty toolbar. By right clicking on the toolbar you can choose the folder with which to populate the bar. By default, the bar is attached to the top edge of the screen and the contents of the folder are displayed with names and icons. The position of the toolbar can be moved with the mouse, it can be made thinner and the file names can be hidden.
2) SideSlide is a portable tool to create a desktop dock or a customizable launch bar. You can add an rss feed, links to files, folders, quick start of websites, a command line for the rapid execution of various commands, notes, images, reminders and more.
3) Express Menu is a horizontal toolbar that hooks to the top of the screen and allows you to access hard disk partitions, the Control Panel, special folders such as document or image folders and other custom folders.
4) Nexus is a dock where you can organize applications, files and folders with instant access . You can add multiple dock connections by dragging icons into them or via the menu that appears by pressing the right mouse button. Like Dock, visually, it is really beautiful and works well on Windows 7, 8 and 10.
5) ToolBox is a program for creating toolbars and maintaining links for the quick start of all organized programs.
Toolbox provides floating bars and boxes, semi-transparent and detachable from the edges that can be placed anywhere on the desktop and where you can place links to files, folders, URLs and other objects.
6) 8Start is another type of box to collect links to the most used files and programs so as to always keep them at hand from the Windows desktop and launch them quickly.
Not only is it customizable, but it also offers control over the layout, icon size and organization of groups and categories.
7) Sliderdock is one of the best docks available for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 which has recently been renewed with new and more attractive graphics.
This program launch bar allows you to quickly access applications and websites by selecting them from a rotating ring.
After starting it, to make the dock appear, press the CTRL-Space keys and then move the mouse cursor over the larger icon and move the mouse wheel to rotate the buttons. A double click on the main icon opens the selected program while with the right button you can access the options with which to customize the menu. Sliderdock works on Windows 10 and Windows 7.
SliderDock is just one of the best program start menus with horizontal or circular dock bars for Windows .
