Those who do not know it may wonder why this application is so popular, as if it were essential.

Even if I have no advertising intentions and even if I almost never speak of a paid application, I have to make an exception because I have this app installed for three years now on every phone owned and I can't imagine having an Android cellphone or tablet without Nova .
This application is really appreciated not only because it is very neat and clear, but above all for the level of customization that can be obtained.
For example, with Prime it is possible to organize applications into groups and folders, both of icons for the main screen and for the general list of apps.
With Nova it is also possible to hide some applications from the list, so that whoever takes the phone in hand cannot find them (if he does not know Nova) or in any case open them quickly. a feature I can't live without on Android: the custom app drawer group feature.
Another distinguishing feature of this app is the unread notification counter for SMS and Email, super practical for always knowing how many unread messages there are.
The possibility to add action buttons on the main screen is also very useful, such as the one to hide the notification bar at the top, to open the list of recent apps, to hide the dock at the bottom, to activate the search for applications.
You can also zoom in or out of app icons, set a 3D scrolling effect, activate the transparent notification bar and many other graphic options .
Also very useful is the possibility of being able to resize the widgets on the screen, to make them smaller even if it would not be possible.
Finally, there is no lack of support to activate the voice assistant Google Now by voice, saying the words Ok Google .
All without weighing down the system, making it more fluid and lighter and also very stable, without ever crashing and with minimal memory consumption.
On the other hand, of course, Nova Launcher Prime is not exactly cheap as an application and 3 Euro is not such a ridiculous amount.
Considering, however, that once purchased, it can then be installed on any other mobile phone or tablet owned or that will be bought in the future, I would say that it is worthwhile.
Overall, Nova Launcher Prime changes Android for the better by correcting the various defects and shortcomings of the default Google launcher and the heavier ones imposed by Samsung, LG or other manufacturers.
