Open Word and Excel files in tabs in the same window with Office Tabs

If you like the way you open several websites in 'tabs' in your browser, it may be of interest to a plugin for Microsoft Office programs which allows you to open various files in separate tabs.
In practice you get the tabs like in Chrome or Internet Explorer and it becomes easier to work with Word and Excel documents as well as Powerpoint.
The advantage is that you can open multiple documents in the same window and you can quickly view one or the other without problems, an ideal way to copy and paste from one to the other.
The Office Tabs plugin has a free, limited but still usable version, which works with all editions of Microsoft Office: Enterprise, Ultimate, Professional Plus, Professional, standard, Home and Business, for Office 2013/2010/2016 and it definitely works well on Windows 10, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
The free version of Office Tabs does not work with Microsoft Office 2013 instead.
The problem, for those who work there often and for those who have to deal with many documents or tables, is that each of them opens a new Word or Excel window and, to work on them at the same time, you always have to play with the windows, placing them side by side, minimizing them, bringing them up and down and so on.
This is not at all comfortable, it slows down the work and, when there are many files open together, it drives you crazy and confusing.
The best solution is instead to use Word, Excel and Powerpoint as you use an internet browser such as Firefox, Chrome or Explorer or using the Tabs and get a side-by-side view .
By opening a new document or a new table or a new presentation in Word, a new window does not open as it did before but a new tab next to the first .
To switch from one file to another quickly, just click on the tabs.
Among the main features we have:
- Customizable and easy to use
- Useful menu strip
- Open and close documents
- Automatic saving of all open files when closing the window
- Shortcut keys supported
Unfortunately, the free version asks, often and with a pop-up, to buy the full version of the Office Tab program, which is rather boring which could annoy many.
