How to delete photos from Facebook, delete albums and remove tags

Facebook was born as a social network in which to share photographs and every day members upload millions of images that remain stored on the site forever, at least until someone asks to delete them.
At this point one of the biggest short circuits of Facebook's privacy occurs, because if there is a photo of us, which we have not uploaded, we will not be able to delete it and this will remain online and visible.
Deleting a single photo uploaded by ourselves to Facebook is quite simple, both using the website and using the mobile app.
Just open the Photos section and then go to " Your photos ".
You can then open the photo you want to delete and click on Options or click on the pencil that appears by hovering over it to find the "Delete this photo" option.
If this option does not appear, it means that the photo has not been uploaded by us and we will see what to do next.
From the Facebook app for smartphones and tablets, the Photos section is found by touching the general menu, under the Apps section.
Open an album of our photos, open the one to be deleted, tap on Edit and then on Delete .
Once a photo is deleted from Facebook, it will no longer be recoverable in any way.
You can also delete an entire photo album from the site by opening the album and then clicking the gear button at the top right to find the option to delete the entire album.
From the Facebook app, the key to press is the down arrow next to the album title.
All photos in an album are deleted forever and are no longer recoverable.
As mentioned above, it is not possible to delete photos uploaded by other people, even if we are present in them and even if we do not want them to be visible online to friends.
The only thing you can do is ask the author of the photo to remove it.
All the photos we have been tagged in and that are visible from our profile, are collected in the " photos where you are " section and are always visible to our friends.
If whoever uploaded it made it public, then that photo will be visible to everyone and we cannot change this.
To hide that photo and prevent it from appearing in our profile and list of photos, you need to remove the tag .
To remove the tag just go with the mouse on the photo, click on the pencil that appears and remove the tag.
From the Facebook app, press the "tag" button at the bottom of the photo, tap the tag when it appears on the photo and tap the "X" next to our name to remove the tag.
Without tags, that photo is not traced back to us and it becomes difficult for anyone to find it.
The photo will still remain in the profile of the person who uploaded it and mutual friends will obviously be able to recognize us.
If this should be a problem and if the photo is really inconvenient, you can ask Facebook to remove the content deemed offensive, even if it will hardly go through.
If you really need the photo to be deleted, the best option is to contact the person who uploaded it and ask to remove it.

Note that there are some tricks to hide and protect Facebook photos so as not to show them to everyone, but making them visible only to whoever we want.
Conversely, however, you can always see the hidden photos on Facebook of everyone .
All the photos we are tagged in are visible on the search page //www.facebook.com/search/id-number/photos-of by changing the id number with that of our profile (the Facebook id number can be extracted with this online tool).
