How to activate Adsense on a Blog and what requirements are required

Having a blog or personal site is still a good opportunity today to earn money from advertising.
Compared to a few years ago, however, the difficulties are much greater, both because the advertising networks are more selective, and because in any case, also due to the global economic crisis, returns are much lower and it is therefore necessary to have many visits in order to earn significant figures .
As already explained in the past, you can earn with a blog or website with Adsense, the Google program dedicated to publishers (i.e. site managers) who want to put online advertising.
Adsense is the easiest way to insert advertising because it is completely automatic, just copy and paste a code into the pages of the site and let the ads be managed independently by Google.
The returns are good, the payments are punctual and the reliability is maximum.
The only problem is that to request the registration and activation of Adsense you need a site that respects the rules and requirements required by the regulation .
The process of activating Adsense requires a lot of maturity on the part of the blog owner and, precisely, that the site is well cared for and well written.
There are relevant quality standards that cannot be ignored today and are:
- A blog of at least 6 months is needed in many countries.
- 30 or 40 well written pages, informative, interesting and not copied by others.
- A static blog and not done in flash, with only videos or with dynamic templates.
- A blog published on a personal domain or on a BlogSpot URL.
Blogspot sites are those created with the Blogger platform which, being Google, allows you to publish advertisements even without buying a personal domain.
As mentioned, the site must then be mature enough because no company that pays to advertise would want to see its ads on an empty or low-value site.
Those who want to earn from AdSense must therefore first wait for constant visitor traffic and publish new articles periodically, attracting readers and visits, without spamming and without copying from others.
It is therefore obvious that a blog, even a year old, can be rejected by Adsense if it does not have enough content and if it is not kept constantly updated.
Furthermore, the Adsense rules also require that on the site there is no mention of certain topics, that there is no vulgarity, that there is no adult content, that there are no violent images and so on.
In a nutshell, the site must be done in such a way that even if a child visits it, they find no reason to be struck, disgusted or offended.
There must also be no illegal content or piracy and that you have ownership rights over what you publish, therefore you must not copy or take videos of others by passing them off on their own.
Google is very strict on this and in the Adsense help forum there are many complaints from publishers excluded because of the content, which they almost never understand and that are often ignored.
The first rule to not be excluded forever from Adsense is not to click on the ads alone or even to ask friends to do it.
Adsense is programmed to catch these types of violations so, except in the case of accidental clicks, you shouldn't try.
The traffic of visits must then be spontaneous, coming from search engines or social networks and not from visitors bought or mutual favors of the type you visit my blog and I yours.
To be sure that all is well, read the Adsense rules carefully on the official website, while on the official Italian forum you can find any type of information or answer to any doubts.
If all the requirements are met, you can then go to the Adsense site and register and then create the various ads that can easily be placed on your site.
