Change ringtone volume and vibration type automatically on Android

It can happen that the volume of the ringtone on the smartphone is too high during a business meeting, and at the slightest ring it will disturb anyone in the vicinity.
On the other hand, you may not hear the ringtone or the vibration of the smartphone when you are outdoors or in the traffic, making you miss that important call that you have been waiting for for some time. Adjusting the ringtone volume manually can easily escape your mind, leaving it set at a level that is not appropriate for the context.
On the vibration you can do very little (a lot depends on the smartphone you use), but you can adjust the frequency of the vibration so as to recognize on the fly who calls you and if it deserves your attention.
In this guide I will show you the best apps with which to change the ringtone volume and vibration type automatically on Android, so that you no longer have to fear losing an important call or having too high a volume.
The apps that I will report to you allow you to adjust the ringtone volume based on external noise or according to specific rules.

Change ringtone volume automatically

Intelligent Ringer

With this app you can adjust the volume of your ringtone based on ambient noises, so as to set it to the maximum when you are in a noisy environment and import it to the minimum when if in a quieter environment.
Obviously the minimum and maximum volume levels can be adjusted from the settings, as well as you can activate the special "pocket mode", which thanks to the brightness sensor on the front of the device detects when you have placed the smartphone in your pocket or bag and it automatically increases the volume so you can hear it when it rings.
The app also has a calibration mode, so that you can calibrate the sensitivity of the app to the sounds it perceives, just calibrate the app in a noisy room or place and then calibrate the app in a quiet environment.
Unfortunately this app is gone.
Automate

This app allows you to create tasks (scheduled operations) for any phone functionality, including of course the ringtone control.
Using it may seem a little difficult, but once you understand the mechanism behind the functioning of the task it is a walk to change the ringtone volume automatically!
You can adjust the ringtone based on where you are (if the GPS coordinates match, lower or raise the ringtone according to the task created) or according to other easily planned events: you connect to the office's WIFi network "> Automate
Trigger

App very similar to the previous one I described, but which provides a much simpler and more immediate interface for creating triggers (in fact, scheduled operations).
With this app you can set the ringtone volume level based on specific events or particular conditions, including the use of NFC tags: by bringing an NFC tag close to the smartphone you can enable a trigger without even turning on the phone screen.
The rest of the features are similar to when already seen on Automate.
You can download this app for free from here -> Trigger
NFC Tools

If your phone is equipped with NFC technology you can use it to create tasks to be operated with the appropriate "tokens" or freely programmable NFC tags.
Using the NFC Tools app you can create the "Increase Volume", "Lower Volume" and "Clear Volume" task and associate them with a precise NFC string, to be sent to the empty and programmable NFC tags. Once the empty NFC tag is approached, it will store the NFC string created by the tastk; from now on every time you bring the NFC tag to the back of the smartphone the volume task will be performed, without even turning on the screen.
Obviously it is better to write on the label of the NFC tags which task they recall, so that they can use the right one according to the situation.

If, on the other hand, if you are interested in empty NFC tags to program, you can purchase them from here -> 5 NFC Tag Sticker

Change vibration automatically

Good Vibrations

If you intend to adjust the frequency of the vibration so as to recognize an unknown caller or number, you can use the Goo Vibrations app.
This app allows you to adjust the vibration both from the point of view of intensity and from the point of view of frequency.
For example, if a number entered in the phonebook calls you, you can vibrate the phone with 2 beats (the phone vibrates 2 times every second), in case of an unknown call or from a number not entered in the phonebook you can vibrate the phone with 3 beats ( the phone vibrates 3 times every second).
The great level of customization and modern graphics make this app the best way to change vibration automatically based on the caller.

Vibration Notifier

If you want to change the vibration level for individual app notifications you can use Vibration Notifier.
It works similarly to the previous app: you can customize the level and frequency of vibration for each app that sends notifications on the phone; in this way you can vibrate 3 times when you receive a WhatsApp message, you can vibrate 1 time when you receive an email or vibrate 2 times if the notification concerns the Facebook app.
Again there are no limits to the personalization of vibrant notifications, just choose the right combination for your needs.
