App to unlock your mobile phone at home and lock it out automatically (Android)

When you use your mobile phone at home, unless you have a very curious parent or partner, it is convenient to leave it unlocked by PIN or other security systems, so that you can use it freely and easily.
The speech is reversed if you leave the house, where it is important to keep your cellphone protected so that no stranger can spy on it and in order to have a protection of the stored data in case it is lost or stolen.
To reconcile safety and convenience there is a really very handy Android smartphone application which, by using the Wifi network, automatically keeps your cell phone unlocked if we are at home or in the office and instead locks it when you leave .

The same function can be obtained on all Android smartphones from version 4, with the Smart Unlock app (free for 7 days and then costs a Euro).
Once you grant access, it allows you to add specific Bluetooth or NFC devices that keep your phone unlocked.
You can also set up a wifi network to disable the lock screen when you are at home or in the office.
The need to automatically unlock the device when connected to a trusted Wi-Fi network or a bluetooth device can be satisfied thanks to a free app called Safe Areas (Wifi Unlock) (App withdrawn)
The only requirement for the application to work is that a Wifi network is available in the house to which you must be connected.
Once Safe Areas has been started, authorization is required to proceed, which is necessary because you are changing a security setting on Android.
Basically, you're letting the app be the device administrator so that it can insert and deactivate the password whenever it wants.
This app doesn't require root permissions so it works on all smartphones.
Then you have to provide a password or PIN.
This step is required even if a PIN has already been created in the Android settings because that of Safe Areas goes to overwrite this.
It is not possible to use other block settings such as the sequence for a restriction put in place by Android itself.
In the end, it's time to tell Safe Areas when to unlock the device and, being connected to the home wifi network or to your own Bluetooth device, create the safe area by touching the writing in the center of the screen.
From now, every time the smartphone is connected to the chosen wifi, no password will be requested to access the mobile phone, when it is disconnected, the password or PIN will be requested each time the screen is turned on.
There can be more than one trusted " safe " wifi network, so you can also add the office network or another home network.
In the advanced settings, it is possible to select the option for which the password is not requested the first time you log off, so that you can keep the unlocking mechanism active even when the smartphone is in standby and not connected to the network.
If you are not satisfied, to cancel the PIN at home and automatically unlock the mobile phone, there are apps similar to Safe Areas, such as SkipLock .
This application currently works better than Safe Areas, it is very similar, easy to use and understand, free.
