Keep free space in Windows 10 by activating "Memory Sensor

Memory Sensor is a convenient and useful function that is introduced by Microsoft with the Creators Update in Windows 10, which always serves to keep some free space on the PC disk, automatically.
This option is found by going to the Start menu, pressing the Settings button, in the System section.
In the menu on the left, find Storage and note that you can manage the space of disks and partitions to find out, by clicking on one of these, what are the types of files and folders that take up the most space, so you can eliminate the biggest items quickly and easily.
As already seen in the guide on how to delete temporary Windows files, to easily find unnecessary files and delete them manually, you need to click on the " This PC " disk which is usually the C: disk, scroll down, find and click the temporary files line.
In the Remove Temporary Files screen you can choose to delete temporary files, empty the Trash, delete files from the Downloads folder and then delete the files of the previous version of Windows.
Returning to the main screen of the Storage section, you will notice the writing Memory Sensor and a switch to activate or deactivate it.
The Memory Sensor ensures that Windows 10 automatically frees up space by deleting unnecessary files and deleting files older than 30 days from the recycle bin.
Under the switch there is a link to change the way in which space is freed from the memory sensor and, therefore, disable one of the two options, that of the recycle bin and that of the temporary files used by the apps.
At the bottom a button allows you to clean up the space immediately.
