Google hearing impaired app: Instant transcription and Sound amplifier

Google has released two new applications these days with the aim of giving valuable support for those who have hearing, deaf or hard of hearing problems.
The operation of these apps is based on the voice recognition software of the Google assistant, which is certainly the most advanced ever, capable of listening and understanding practically every word in almost all the languages of the world.
Those who hear little can then use an Android smartphone to transcribe the words spoken by other people on the screen and to amplify the sounds and hear them better .
The two apps are Instant Transcription and Sound Amplifier, free and capable of transforming the smartphone into an advanced intelligent hearing aid, are intended to change the way in which those who have hearing problems interact with the environment.

Instant Transcription is an app already downloadable from the Google Play Store, which has the function of transcribing conversations in real time .
In practice it can be used while talking to another person, reading what he says on the screen.
When using the Instant Transcription app, the words heard from the phone through a microphone appear on the screen for easy reading, in real teampo, i.e. immediately after they are spoken.
Although this app is still in the early stages of experimentation, it already supports real-time transcription in 70 different languages, potentially becoming a way to make people from all over the world communicate whatever the language spoken.
To use live transcription, after installing the app, enable it and start it in the Accessibility settings.
Recall that the same technology of voice recognition with transcription is also present in the Google Translate app which acts as a voice interpreter.
Still on the subject of software for transcribing audio, we have seen how another Google app, namely Google Docs, is able to convert audio to text and automatically write under dictation.
The other application is the Sound Amplifier, which is specifically for deaf and deaf people, to be combined with earphones or hearing aids.
The app only supports Android 9 Pie phones and later.
The audio amplifier of the Google app allows you to have clearer audio, with an increase in volume for the weakest and most difficult to hear sounds, without however amplifying the already loud noises.
In the settings, you can optimize the sound enhancement and reduce the background noise noise.
