We have seen how easy it is to sign PDF documents from a PC, Android, tablet, iPad and iPhone too bad that often, these signed documents must be sent by fax because many public administration offices do not accept e-mails. 1) The first app to try is Agile Telecom's Quickfax, for iPhone (where it works well and is updated), linked to the online Faxator service to which you must be registered.
You can then fax free texts to national or international numbers and, only from the iPhone app, also PDF, DOC or JPG files from the Dropbox account and send from your Dropbox account.
Faxator is free for 10 pages per month and has inexpensive subscription plans.
2) Another application that you can try is EasyOffice 's Scanfax on iPhone and iPad and on Android, a solid service that allows you to scan documents and fax them to national and international numbers.
Scanfax allows you to try the first free fax to decide then whether to top up and send others.
The app supports PDFs and Word doc files.
3) A third application in Italian to send faxes from a mobile phone is PamFax which allows you to send a 3-page fax for free and then to pay, for each page, 0.11 euro cents.
The service provides applications for iPhone mobile phones, for Android and also for Windows Phone and Blackberry.
If you like the service, you can also activate a number to receive faxes as if they were emails, directly on your mobile.
4) FaxFile for Android and for iPhone is not free but that can be tried if the first three have not satisfied.
5) PC-Fax for Android allows you to send a fax per day for free, which for many people is more than enough.
PC-Fax, reading the reviews of those who are using it, is perhaps the most popular that can be found for Android smartphones and tablets.
6) On the iPhone and iPad, on the other hand, another app to try is iFax, which allows you to send faxes paying them individually when needed.
7) An app to send Fax is also CamScanner, for Android and iPhone, not free but very cheap and, above all, that works very well.
The application allows you to scan documents, even paper, to be able to then send them via email or Whatsapp or even to be able to send them by fax to any country in the world, for 1 euro.
8) HelloFax, the famous online Fax service, can also be used by smartphone to send faxes for free with the limitation of five pages.
