1) Automatically delete apps that we don't use
A quick way to automatically delete unused apps on iPhone or iPad is to go to Settings> General> iPhone or iPad free space and use the Remove app item you don't use .

2) Quick access to the camera
The camera application is also accessible from the lock screen without even unlocking the Apple device; just swipe from right to left to open the camera right away.

Also, if you are taking a photo horizontally, you can press the button to increase the volume on the iPhone to activate the shutter.
3) Application folder in the bottom dock
A folder of apps often used or that we want to keep in the foreground can be dragged down on the main dock to always have them available.

4) Text replacement
To save time while typing on Apple devices we can use the text replacement shortcuts found in Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> Text replacement .

We touch the + button at the top right and add a phrase, a name or a word that is often written and assign a 2 or 4 letter shortcut; just make sure not to use combinations that match the first few letters of a real word.
When you write this shortcut in a text box, the assigned phrase or word appears in a pop-up and you can tap the space bar to enter it quickly.
5) Customize notifications
In Settings -> Notifications we can manage all the notifications sent by the installed apps, so as to customize alerts and notifications according to your needs.

You can disable unnecessary ones or only some types of notifications for specific apps, possibly also disabling badges and sounds (if not needed), or receive only visual notifications without sound or vibration.
6) Answer calls directly on speakerphone

If we are driving we may need to answer calls directly in speakerphone, without having to press the appropriate button on the call dialer.
To activate this possibility, go to Settings -> General -> Accessibility and then to Call routing, where we must activate the Loudspeaker item.

Now all the calls made will be made with the loudspeaker active, so as to hear the interlocutor in speakerphone.
7) VoiceOver and pronunciation of the text
These functions are available in the Settings menu -> General -> Accessibility .

One allows you to listen to the selected text by voice while VoiceOver is useful for those with vision problems to listen to the name of an open screen or where you tapped on the screen.
8) Change the ringtones for each type of notification
On iPhone and iPad you can change the default ringtones for all types of rings or alerts .
These options can be found under Settings -> Sounds and include SMS messages, Emails, Twitter tweets, calendar and reminders.

9) Emoji keyboard
To activate the emoji keyboard and type them in each text box, go to Settings> General> Keyboards and make sure that the Emoji writing is present at the bottom.

You can access the Emoji keyboard at any time by tapping the world button next to the space bar to insert smiley faces and emoticons; touch the world again to return to normal writing.
10) Change font size
If you have sight and reading problems on the screen, you can change the font size for the default iOS apps such as the Notebook, Messages and the Contacts address book.
