In a list published some time ago, I had listed the best programs similar to Ccleaner which is the most famous and used tool for computer maintenance.
Ccleaner, which can be downloaded for free in different versions, including a slim one (without toolbar) and a laptop that does not require installation, allows, among other things, to eliminate temporary and obsolete files created by Windows, browsers and some programs .

A plugin for Ccleaner has recently been released that allows you to enhance the computer cleaning operation made by this program by adding several features.
In fact, Ccleaner Enhancer, increases the list of programs that Ccleaner must consider in the analysis and cleaning of obsolete and temporary files.
This list can be read by opening Ccleaner and, from the " Cleaning " section, going to the " Applications " tab.
With this Enhancer it is therefore possible to make Ccleaner work to clean traces and obsolete files related to all programs, not only to Firefox, Word and Windows Media Player but also to many other popular software such as: Dropbox, WinRar, Chrome, Utorrent, Xvid, Real Player, Photoshop, Flash cookies, Avast, AVG, Google Talk, MalwareBytes, Yahoo Toolbar, Gimp, Audacity, Ashampoo, VLC, Windows Live Messenger, MSN Plus (attention that for the Messenger the conversation history is cleared) and many others.
They may or may not be enabled for cleaning and the entries will appear only if these applications have been installed on the computer.
It is simply a matter of downloading a configuration file called winapp2.ini which contains the cleaning rules and which must be copied into the Ccleaner installation folder, which is located in the programs directory ( C: / Program Files / Ccleaner or C: / Programfiles / Ccleaner ).
It also works on the Ccleaner Portable version by copying the winapp2.ini file to the folder.
With the CCEnhancer installer, the procedure is automatic.
In essence, thanks to this addition, Ccleaner becomes really very powerful and more and more complete, guaranteeing an ever more optimal cleaning of the traces of the programs, ensuring almost complete privacy.
