Uninstall NVIDIA, AMD and Intel video card drivers completely

The video card driver is the only important one that needs to be taken care of when running a computer.
We have said several times that one of the main reasons for a computer crash may be the presence of a corrupt or simply out of date driver, which conflicts with the hardware components.
This is especially true for the video driver, which is also decisive in determining the performance of a Windows PC.
In this regard, we have therefore seen how to update the PC drivers in general and, in particular, how to download and install updated AMD or NVIDIA video card drivers .
The problem is that none of the manufacturers of computer video cards, namely Nvidia, AMD and Intel, provide a tool for safe updating and driver repair that would have been welcome.
The only way to avoid messing with video drivers is to follow the correct manual update procedure: first you reinstall the old version, then you install the new one .
This at least should be the recommended procedure which however, in order not to waste time, many neglect installing the driver directly on the previous version.
Those who want to do things right, therefore, before installing the new version of the video driver to update it or to solve problems such as the black screen error when starting Windows, you must uninstall the driver, restart the PC and then install the new one version.
To uninstall the video drivers, the normal procedure is to open the Control Panel, then go to Device Manager -> video card -> card name, press the right button above (or also on the Action menu at the top) and uninstall the driver .
This standard method, however, in addition to being somewhat laborious, is not clean and does not remove all the driver files.
Much better then to use a specific program for this purpose: Display Driver Uninstaller
This small and simple tool for Windows 7, Windows 8 and 10, which does not require installation.
The program will ask you to restart your PC in safe mode (it is not mandatory) and then open a screen of buttons with which you can:
- Remove the video driver and restart the PC
- Remove the video driver and do not restart the PC (not recommended)
- Remove the video driver and turn off the computer to be able to replace the video card.
Display Driver Uninstaller is compatible with NVIDIA, AMD and Intel video card drivers and automatically detects which driver is installed on your PC.
The program is capable of creating a system restore point so that you can easily restore the previous version of the video driver if there were any problems.
