After presenting with a live event the preview of Windows 10, where it was also announced that Windows 10 will be free for those who already have Windows 8 and Windows 7, the final, definitive version is now out, very different than the one released some month ago, which includes other news that we will briefly describe in this post. The final version is now also available in Italian so those who download it can also choose to install it by replacing the current installation .
In this case, if you have a PC that is not too old with Windows 7 or with Windows 8, Windows 10 is installed as an update, without deleting personal data and files and also keeping all or most of the programs installed .
As already explained in great detail, to download Windows 10 as a free update or download, in Italian, you can take advantage of the Windows 10 booking tool or, better and faster, go to the Microsoft.com website and download the installation tool and downloads.

At this point you can click on the Start update button to download Windows 10 and install it on your PC (with Windows 8 or Windows 7).
In this case the procedure is automatic and not reversible (if you want to go back to Windows 8 or 7 you will have to reset everything and reinstall).
The requirements of the PC should not be a problem, however, it is clear that, if the PC is the one you are working with, this upgrade is, for now, not recommended because in case of problems you will not be able to do much.
With more caution, however, if you are curious to immediately try Windows 10 without risks, you can click instead on the link download the ISO, choose Italian and download the file for 32-bit PC or for 64-bit PC.
Once the ISO has been downloaded you can install Windows 10 on Virtualbox to try it on a virtual PC, as already explained, without absolutely touching the current installation of Windows 7 or 8.
