Google Account: notification on mobile in case of suspicious access

Most Internet users use at least one of the services offered by Google and have been forced, willingly or not, to open a Google Account.
Who has Gmail, who has an Android mobile phone and who is registered on YouTube, Blogger, Google Drive or Google Maps has a Google account .
Since behind some of these services there may be very sensitive personal data or even money if you use services such as Blogger and Youtube to earn with the Adsense program, it is very important to protect the Google account as if it were that of the online bank, more than that of Facebook.
Obviously a secure password is required, but it is not enough, and Google itself provides additional protection measures, including also the notification on your mobile phone in case of attempts to access the account or if the password is changed .
To begin with, Google has introduced one of the best protection options that you can find on the internet, the two-step verification that I had already written a guide for.

This verification allows you to connect the account to a mobile number that is used to authorize access.
So, in addition to having to enter your name and password to enter Gmail, Youtube or Android, you also need to provide a randomly generated code, which is sent to your mobile phone at the same time.
Even with all these precautions, it is useful to use the notification options recently made available by Google.
Notification is a message sent automatically when you change your password or when suspicious login attempts are detected on your account .
The notification can be received at another alternative email address which is important to keep for account recovery, or even on the mobile phone as an SMS message .
This notification option must be activated manually on the account's security page.
You will be asked to confirm your password and confirm your mobile number by receiving a verification code always via SMS.
