Travel online from your pc with Google World Wonders

Google recently released a website of the most beautiful of its kind, to explore the most beautiful places in the world, as if taking a virtual trip online .
For this web application Google has used its special online service Street View of Google Maps, that is the street view of the city streets, photographed at 360 degrees, in every corner.
This time the photos are of some famous monuments and landscapes among the most famous in the world, places that, until a few years ago, could only be seen in an expensive tourist trip.
Since unfortunately for many it will be impossible to go to each of these wonderful places, Google World Wonders becomes a really important site to be immediately placed as a favorite, to travel online from your PC
Google World Wonders has been released in Italian and allows quick and easy navigation to all the places available in the StreetView gallery, the main website making panoramic visits from the PC of cities, monuments and landscapes.
From Google World Wonders you can search for locations from the top menu based on geographic location or you can search by theme.
Among the topics are: architecture, monuments, castles, palaces, cities, churches, landscapes, parks and archaeological or historical sites.

Among the virtual trips in Italy there are about 20 locations including Villa Adriana, Villa D'Este, Cinque Terre, Piazza del Duomo in Pisa, the historic center of Siena and several others.
The site also includes 3D models, photographs and YouTube videos of historical places, so you can dig deeper and get more information and a wider view of each place.
With Street view, you can use the mouse to move around the streets or inside the monuments, also zooming in to enlarge the details and turning around 360 degrees as if you were in the center of the square.
