Compared to the simple free account (which allows you to listen to all music via the web from your PC, free), with Spotify Premium we will have the following advantages, which must be carefully considered before subscribing to anything.
- Maximum audio quality : the audio files provided with the Premium account offer a bitrate of 320 kbps, the highest possible quality (with the basic account it offers a bitrate of only 128 kbps).
- Absence of advertising : we will no longer be interrupted by music or self-promotion commercials, being able to listen to music without interruption.
- Standard playback from mobile : we can select any song or album in the desired order, being able to skip the songs without any limit (with the free account we will only have random playback and a limited number of track jumps).
- Download of songs and albums : if we are without Internet connection or plan a trip and we do not know if we will have constant connection we can download all the albums and songs we want to memory, so we can listen to them without limits offline (the files are encrypted and reproducible only with Spotify).
They may seem like minimal benefits, but in reality when we use the app on Android and iOS the limitations are really very heavy, forcing you to listen only to the songs in random play and with a limited number of Skip (or skip track) in case the song is not to our liking (for example when we listen to a radio, this limit is really unnerving).
Advertising serves to repay the effort for paid copyrights and if we cannot afford the Premium it is also fine to listen to music from the PC (without an audio system worthy of the name), but if we mainly use the smartphone to listen to the music or we have a Hi-Fi system compatible with Spotify, subscribing to Spotify Premium is a very wise choice .
2) How to activate and pay for the Spotify Premium subscription
Currently the subscription to Spotify Premium is available at € 9.99 per month with the possibility to try it for free for 30 days, just sign up for a new account (to create one we can also use the Facebook account, so as to log in rapid).

As soon as we are logged in with our account (created on the spot or using Facebook) just click on one of the many buttons that carry the word Premium or Free trial on the page that we have indicated to you to subscribe.

If a single Spotify Premium account is close to you because maybe there are more people in the house who use the service, we can save a lot of money by subscribing to the Premium for Family subscription.
With Family we can add up to 6 accounts to the same family (in this case to the account of those who will pay the subscription for everyone), pay only € 14.99 per month and get all the benefits already seen for Premium, each keeping the own music and your listening preferences.
