Use Firefox and Chrome (Android) with Chromecast

With the Chromecast you can watch videos on TV from your PC, even streaming from the Chrome browser.
The same thing can also be done by transmitting on TV, via Chromecast, from an Android smartphone or tablet using the Chrome browser and, from now, also with Firefox.
The latest version of Firefox for Android has in fact added support for the transmission on TV of the videos visible on the internet from the mobile phone, with Chromecast or with Roku, a similar device, but less widespread in Italy.
Using Chrome on Android, when you open the web page of a streaming video, after starting playback and having the TV turned on with the Chromecast already configured, just tap the Chromecast button to see it on TV.
This button appears only when you open the full screen video on your mobile phone or tablet.
With Firefox on Android, however, it is even simpler.
If the smartphone is already connected to the Chromecast and ready to transmit, by opening a web page with a streaming video, you can see it on TV by starting playback and then touching the Chromecast button located in the player control bar at the bottom to the left.
Unfortunately Android, from version 4.4 does not support the viewing of videos in Flash so you can open with Chrome and Firefox only videos in HTML5 and optimized for mobile.
The only way to see flash videos not supported by Chrome and Firefox via Chromecast is to install Flash on Android, use Dolphnin Browser, activate Dolphin Jetpack and the flash player in the options, open the video page, put it to everything screen and then cast the Android screen to the Chromecast
Although more laborious, the result is practically the same and you can watch any streaming video on the internet on TV.
