2) A particular category of notebooks is that of very expensive gaming laptops, which in addition to having the most powerful processor on the market, also have an excellent graphics card inside.
3) Ultrabooks, are thin, fast, light notebooks with long lasting batteries.
Laptops become Ultrabooks if they meet certain specifications such as a thickness of 23mm maximum when closed, a fast system boot in 3 seconds, a battery lasting at least 9 hours and a series of other features including the use of Intel processors.
Obviously Ultrabooks are more expensive.

4) Convertible, they are the laptops with a touchscreen or, which is the same thing, the tablets with the keyboard.
The result, in any case, is that of a normal notebook computer to which the keyboard can be detached or a tablet to which the keyboard can be added.
As for convertible PCs, they can be found with different operating systems, including, in addition to Windows 10, also Android and iOS if you choose an iPad.
Convertibles are excellent computers for those who need to work and write and, at the same time, to bring and exhibit presentations as you would with a normal tablet.
As for prices, they are also convertible at 200 Euros if you want to spend little.

6) Netbooks, are the small laptops launched several years ago which, however, given the limited success, have practically disappeared from the market.
The types of desktop computers are:
1) Desktop PCs are the most classic desktop computers, usually with a vertical shape.
The Desktop PC has the great advantage of being customizable and improved over time by easily changing the pieces inside it.
The flaw of desktop PCs is, in addition to the space they occupy, the need to connect a separate monitor, keyboard, mouse, audio speakers with many cables that it becomes necessary to hide on the back.
Desktop computers can be bought ready-made or by mounting individual pieces.

2) Compact desktop computers, however, are small fixed PCs ideal for offices and to be placed on the table.
These computers, usually, are not very powerful, they remain rather light as performances reduce the possibility of subsequent improvements, because they are more compact and more difficult to disassemble.
The advantage is that they take up less space and can be moved more easily.
Sometimes this type of computer does not have a cooling fan and is therefore also very quiet.
3) Mini computers, they are stationary computers in the sense that they need a monitor (which can also be a TV), even if they are light and pocket-sized to carry around.
The best desktop Mini PCs are Chromeboxes, Nucs and VivoPCs.
4) Raspberry, is an even smaller and more essential type of mini PC, essentially made of a motherboard as big as a mobile phone with the CPU on top, to which you can connect the screen, disk and keyboard to make it work.
The Raspberry is a complete computer that costs 40 Euros, ideal especially to use it as a media center for TV.
5) Computer Media Center, are special computers to be connected to the TV to watch videos and movies.
They usually cost little, they are compact and small, they mount an Android operating system.
Other terms by which some special types of computers are identified are:
- Workstation, which is a more powerful desktop PC, with a lot of memory and an excellent processor, ideal for graphics programs and 3D games.
- Server, a computer specialized to host one or more services, which can be used on the network by other PCs (for example a webserver is a computer on which a website is located or a NAS which is a file server).
- Mainframe and Super Computer, are terms used to classify particularly powerful company servers.
