Find documents, texts, PDFs and presentations to download

Google is an immense database where everything is found, the problem is only finding ways to search without wasting too much time.
This blog in fact has the ambition to be an intermediary between search engines and internet surfers in order to report the best resources, the best programs and files that may interest you most.
Among the most searched files on the internet there are also written documents that are archived and saved on the web, in .doc format for Word texts, .xls for Excel tables, .pst for Powerpoint presentations and .pdf for files read with Acrobat Reader.
At this point, you have to be honest and practical and consider that unless you are doing a job, in a certain way, new and original, everything has already been done, it has been written and, most likely, it is available to be read and downloaded from the internet.
So if you have to write a project document, testing, instructions for use, if you have to draw up a business plan, a user manual, a supply contract or you have to present a product or service that you want to offer, you should browse the web and see if something like this has already been done so as to take inspiration and start from a model, without inventing the wheel 10 times.
So, searching with Google is certainly the practice for most people but there is no denying that in the midst of all those results, it is difficult to get to the bottom and find what you need in no time.
Therefore we see excellent free resources that can provide any professional document or model, free of charge and search engines for Acrobat PDF files.
1) Forms forms, letters of withdrawal, curriculum, certificates of public bodies, all in Italian, can be found on the Moduli.it website treated in another post.
If you need a professional document, this is the first site where you need to check.
After finding the desired document, text, pdf or Powerpoint presentation, the download is immediate and free.
2) Sites with Excel models of all kinds are reported in another article.
3) Scribd is a site already mentioned in the search page for books and ebooks and is the largest collection of documents of all types.
It almost looks like a virtual library, where anyone can freely upload and share any type of text document (jokes, facts, stories, presentations, etc.), even if it is also completely useless stuff.
4) Outwit is not a search engine but a site that provides a plugin for the Firefox web browser which is therefore available for Windows, Linux and Mac.
Outwit allows you to search for documents, images and other types of information online and displays the results in a window that has the same interface as Windows.
3 different Firefox extensions will be visible on the homepage, one generic, one for documents and one for images.
Speaking in this case of Outwit Docs, once installed, it will be possible to access it via the toolbar button or from the Tools menu.
Once opened, its operation is absolutely intuitive and simple and you can search for text files or Word files simultaneously, both on the internet and on your computer.
You can choose which type of document to look for and, once you find what you need, you can open it with a double click or save it locally by pressing the right mouse button.
You can also start multiple searches simultaneously for different keys and names and mark the results that can be useful in a separate window called "Catch".
5) SlideShare is a very famous site where Powerpoint presentations and slides can be created online and published.
The research that allows you to find guides, manuals, Ebooks, Brochures, presentations, publications and many other unique and original texts.
6) To find documents in Italian, the GDocu site is also listed, which is a search engine for PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other typical office formats.
The site is based on Google results and works very well for finding writings in Italian.
The Outwit Hubs plugin instead allows the search for many different objects, on the internet and on the PC, between images, emails, tables, texts, feeds, scripts, histories and other things.
6) Safe Manuals, already discussed in another post, allows you to search for instruction manuals for technological devices and various guides.
7) Search engines to find free pdf files to download as PDF Search Engine
In another article we had seen how to search for E-Books on the internet, that is, complete books, also in pdf format.
