Google has released a very special, fun and very nice new website to promote its streaming Google Play Film video rental service. Thanks to this site it is possible to review some scenes of the most beautiful films ever, looking for them according to the place where they were shot .
It is basically a site, made like Google StreetView, to find the places where some of the most successful films of the last few years have been shot .
The nice thing is that the scenes of these films are reproduced within the real place in which they were shot which frames it and which moves according to the video.
For example, in the image above we are in Montepulciano in Tuscany where a famous scene from the Twilight movie was shot.
Since describing it in words does not make it worthwhile, it is worth opening the Google Play The World site immediately and looking on the world map for the various films to find out where they were shot .
Although there are many movie scenes recorded in Italian cities, the best part of this special map is certainly in the USA, with cities like New York and Los Angeles used as film sets by many famous films.
