While creating a Google account is very easy, I wanted to point out that it is also possible to have a Google account separate from Gmail, without therefore having to activate a Google Mail email address
To create a Google account without Gmail simply use the special registration form on this page which is different from the default registration page located at //accounts.google.com/SignUp.
In reality it is easy to switch from the default page to the one where you do not require the registration of a new @ gmail.com address, just click on the legible blue writing on the right that says: I prefer to use my current email address .
In this way, you can create a Google account in a super easy way, indicating any e-mail address also @ outlook.com, @ libero.it, @ alice.it, @ fastwebnet.it, @ yahoo.it etc.
It will therefore be enough to provide an email address that has never been used before on a Google account to register a new account with name, surname, date of birth and password.
The phone number, which remains useful to give to Google in order to easily recover the account in case of problems and to activate two-step verification, is not mandatory to be provided.
Google will send an automatic message to the email address provided which contains a link to click to confirm that that email address is true and used.
At the end you can use any Google service or app by logging in with the email address provided and the password indicated during registration.
The only Google service that cannot be used with this registration is, of course, Gmail, which will necessarily require the creation of an @ gmail.com address associated with the account.
Once you have created this address, you can certainly use the main email address inside Gmail, which is today the best online email service for all its functions.
I only recommend, after creating it, to secure the Google account and also check the very important privacy options.
