Most useful free email services to use

We are used to using emails only to send and receive documents from friends, employers or colleagues and we do not think in the least of using them to get some valuable help during our activity on the PC.
In addition to sending and receiving the e-mail exchanged between normal users, it is possible to take advantage of e-mails to interface with particular services capable of responding to e-mails with variable content or capable of activating services and features, without installing programs or extensions!
In this guide we will see together the most useful and free email services . It ranges from converting a book to PDF up to creating a real website from an email. All you have to do is open your favorite client and send an email to the services listed below.
1) Faxator
One of the services that we can take advantage of via email is Faxator, which allows the sending and receiving of free or paid faxes directly into the email box.
You can find the service here -> Faxator

To use the service you need to register for free by pressing the Register button.
Once the registration is completed (where we will be asked for an email address) just send an email to the server provided by the service to send faxes to all numbers in Italy and abroad. By enabling reception, it will be possible to transform our e-mail box into a real virtual fax.

2) Web2PDF
With this service we will be able to convert an entire web page into a PDF document, ready to be shared or saved on the PC.
The site can be visited from here -> Web2PDF

The service offered by Web2PDF also works by sending an email with the link to the web page to be translated. We open our mail client or our Webmail and write an email to " ", inserting as subject "convert" and as a message the URL link to the page to convert to PDF. After sending the email, just wait a few minutes and we will have the answer containing a PDF file with the site converted into this format.
3) Send Kindle documents
If we have an Amazon eBook reader (Kindle) we can send web pages, documents or books downloaded using the email service provided by Amazon. The personal page where you can do this is available here -> Send Kindle documents .

On the My content and devices page, simply go to the Settings section to find the personalized email address that Amazon has provided us, to be used to receive documents on our Kindle (red arrow previous image).
Make sure to add our email in the Approved Email List Personal Documents section to avoid spam and proceed to send documents or links to the Kindle. We create a new email addressee the address provided by Amazon and attach the file or website to be converted, using the "convert" item as the subject of the email. A few seconds after sending, our Kindle will receive the converted document (if connected via WiFi).
4) Send to Dropbox
We use Dropbox a lot to save important documents and files "> Send to Dropbox.

All we have to do is register for the service and associate it with our Dropbox cloud; once registered we will get an email address to send anything from our PC (photos, videos, documents etc.) as an attachment for a new email. As soon as the email starts the service will take care of uploading it into our virtual space on Dropbox, so as to make it accessible on any other device on which we use the cloud service.
5) Zamzar
We need to convert a file on the fly without using the programs "> Zamzar.

Using this service is very simple: we load the file to convert (audio, video, photos, images, documents etc.) in Step 1 (Choose file), then select the type of file to convert to the original one (Step 2), insert an email address in Step 3 and finally we click on Convert in Step 4 to start the conversion and sending the email. If we have entered our email address after a few minutes we will find a new email with the file converted into the chosen format.
6) pdfconvert.me
An all-do conversion site that can only work via email is pdfconvert.me, available from here -> pdfconvert.me .

A specific email address is available for each service, to be used as a recipient to obtain the conversion.

- - As above, but without considering the page header
- - Converts the first website inserted into the text
- - Converts the first attachment found in the email

7) Any.do
If we have to take notes or make a shopping list or to-dos we can take advantage of the emails and the Any.do service, reachable here -> Any.do.

By registering with the service and associating your email we will be able to create to-do lists (ToDo in English) at any time simply by writing an email and entering each activity on a separate line (each line will become a point in the list) . We can add tasks to do, plan the calendar and much more by sending a simple email to the service.
