Write hidden text in Word protect it or delete it

Word allows you to hide a piece of text in the document from viewing or printing.
You can therefore write hidden text, perhaps as notes or memos, in any part of the document and therefore make it invisible to the eye .
You can hide text on a document written with Word so as not to show it to other people, but, in this case, you will also need to protect the document with a password that prevents you from changing its formatting.
Hidden text can always be easily viewed and seen by people who have access to the document or it can be removed if you don't want to put protection that prevents paragraph formatting changes.
You can write hidden text by selecting the words or lines (already written) to be hidden and then pressing on it with the right button making the menu of options appear.
From the menu, go to Character and then, under the Effects section, select the hidden option.
The paragraph of hidden text leaves an empty space in the document that can be easily disappeared without losing the part that is no longer visible, so as not to give clues to its presence.
To review the hidden text, you can change the option again by selecting the entire document, right clicking on it and, in the Character menu, removing the option of the hidden text effect.
Hidden text differs from the rest of the document because it is underlined by a dotted line .
To view and search for hidden text that is perhaps distributed in a long document, you first use the Find and replace function in order to find it and, if necessary, remove it.
Then press the " Ctrl + H " keys to open the " Find and replace " window with the active " Replace " tab.
Place the cursor on the " Find " and press the Alro button at the bottom to expand the options.
then click on the " Format " button at the bottom of the window and select "Font" from the menu.
In the Find Font window, in the effects section, you can click the " Hidden " box to activate the search for hidden text and press OK.
In the " Find and replace " window, click on " Replace all " to delete in one fell swoop the hidden text is deleted from the document.
Unfortunately, using " Find and replace " to search for and delete hidden text from a Word document does not work in notes, headers, footers and other sections other than the main part of the document.
To protect the hidden text and prevent the reader from finding and reading it, protection can be activated by changing the style of the file.
Then go to Review and use the Protect command to choose the formatting option allowing only the selected styles.
Press Apply and OK to prevent those who do not know the password from changing the character and style of the document.
