Take and save photos from a video on iPhone

While recording a video with the camera application on an iPhone, you can also take photos while recording.
To do this, press the button next to the registration button.
Once the video is finished and saved, however, you cannot extract a frame from it to save it as a photo, unless you use an application designed specifically for this job.
It's called Video2Photo, it is available only for iOS, iPhone and iPad, and allows you to record videos and take photos during shooting, and also to save part of the video, with frame-by-frame support, that is, as a series of photographs .
Simply open the application, record a video or import one from the camera roll, watch the video and touch the screen every time you want to save a precise moment like a photo.
You can drag your finger on the top frames to rewind or fast forward and select a specific frame for taking a photo.
Once the first photo has been captured, others can be taken by pressing the button at the top right.
In the next screen you can see all the photos taken and, from here, they can be improved or simply saved on the camera roll.
The tool allows you to improve and retouch images, changing brightness, contrast and sharpness and allows you to share photos on Facebook directly.
The only bad thing about this app is that, in the free version, there is always a label on the saved photos that bears the name of the application.
Obviously this is not the only application capable of doing this work and we can try, alternatively, Snapstill, also for iPhone, aims to extract images from videos .
Instead of taking several photos, you shoot a video with this application, of 20 or 30 seconds and then elaborate it dividing it into frames to choose the best image to save.
Photos can be combined together to create an animated GIF photo.
