Download books from Google Books in pdf or jpg to read on PC, whole or previews

Google has cataloged almost all the books in the world, both the old books and the new publications, available now online. Some of them can be read from start to finish, while others can only be "browsed" as if you were in a bookstore, that is, looking at only a few pages.
The Google Books site is also available in Italian and is the largest online library in the world.
On Google Play Books, on the other hand, you can download and buy books at lower prices than in the bookstore.
They don't have much to do with Ebooks, the electronic format of the books we wrote about recently, with the best sites from which to download Ebooks and find them on the internet .
The question that arises is certainly: I can download the whole book on the PC and read it safely "> only text".
The button is clearly visible at the top right for books such as Dante Alighieri's "La Divina Commedia" for which the download is free.
For E-Book owners, electronic books, you can also download books in EPUB format, for free.
For copyrighted books, however, there is no download option and they cannot be downloaded in full. Google is still in dispute with the book publishers and is ending it with the reassurance that these books will never be available for a full download. So, to eliminate many doubts and many questions that dream of this hacking, we can certainly say that the books from Google are downloaded, only if they are free and free, for all the others instead, you can read a maximum of 30 or 40 pages but not c is and, of course, there will be no way to download them completely . This certainty derives from the fact that, even if some good hacker programmer, could find the way, or keep it for himself or, if he spread it on the web, he would surely be blocked in a short time.
So what is Google Books for?
Well, the job of cataloging all the books written in the world is incredible, on Google Books we have a huge library on the internet, where you can search for titles and authors for all books, of all languages, certainly including Italian.
Like a real library, books can be consulted, leafed through but for complete reading, one must buy them, and whoever reads this blog knows that I say this not to make hypocritical morals but because there is no possible trick to steal them.
We have therefore said that a copyrighted book can no longer be downloaded completely, however, there are some tricks, a little rough, to download the preview of those books to your PC.
By preview I mean that, of a book like Pinocchio by Collodi, there are almost all pages but not all, of other books, then of other books there are far fewer pages. Practically all the new and famous books have no Preview, so if you search, for example, Harry Potter or Gomorra di Saviano, you can only find the presentation of the book with the cover.
Google Book Search works like normal Google and, going on advanced settings, you can refine your search, looking only for Italian books and choosing whether, among the results, you can find a complete and downloadable book, a complete book or with a preview, or all.
The best program to download the entire book (full or only the pages visible for free) is the Google Books Downloader program for Windows and Mac. To download the book you need to copy and paste the link of the book that can be extracted by pressing the Link button on the right of each page of a book on Google Books. The book is saved in PDF or JPG depending on your preference.
An important and valid alternative that works very well is EDS Google Books Downloader from which you can search for books and download them, if available for free. The download of the book pages is in JPG or PNG file.
A program that works but is somewhat limited in its free version is Goo Reader. It is a tool for finding books, very useful if you choose to find only the books that can be downloaded and read for free.
For books without any preview, there is nothing to do, if not buy them on the Google Play Books online store or on Amazon Italy, whose price is much lower than that displayed by Italian bookstores.
