The most important and popular online music service in the United States, Spotify, has also been "opened" in Italy, made available today, in conjunction with the 2013 Sanremo Festival. For those who do not know it, Spotify is a program that, using the internet connection, allows you to listen to streaming music for free, since 2014 without limits via the web, on PC, Tablet, iPhone and Android .
There is therefore no need to download anything and potentially you can listen to every song that has ever been released on an album.
Music can also be purchased as you do in iTunes or you can buy time-limited subscriptions to take advantage of the service without limitations.
To register and take advantage of Spotify, just go to the Italian site and register your account or connect via Facebook account (Spotify and Facebook are strictly connected).
Immediately afterwards, download the Spotify program which is used to listen to music on your computer .
Spotify can also be downloaded on Android and iPhone .
From 2017 it is also possible to install Spotify Music as an app for Windows 10, much more convenient than the traditional program.
Spotify is also accessible with the Sportify web player, freely accessible from any PC without installing anything.
There are two types of accounts:
- Free : allows free and unlimited listening of streaming music (From 2014), from your computer, connected to the internet, with commercials
- Premium instead makes it possible to listen to unlimited music even without internet connection and from any device, mobile phone (with applications for Android and iPhone) or computer; it costs 10 Euros per month, but you can do a free trial for 30 days.
As you can understand Spotify is a kind of music radio that you can customize, where you can choose which kind of music and which artists to listen to.

The program or app is easy to use, you can search for songs, scroll through the top charts in Italy and worldwide, see the latest news and create your own personalized playlists.
Thanks to the Radio function, you can listen to randomly selected songs of the genre you like best.
Spotify is also integrated into Facebook as an application that publishes a special section on the profile diary to share with friends the songs you like best and the ones you are listening to.
In addition, you will be able to see, in real time, what music your friends are listening to directly from the program interface.
At the top left, if you use the Faceobok account to use Spotify, you will see the Friends section to send them a favorite song.
The songs listened to with Spotify are also easy to share on Twitter and on other websites through the code that is made available by the site.
The interface of Spotify is similar to that of iTunes, but the music is listened to in full, via the internet.
At the top there is the search, pressing twice with the left button on a song found starts streaming playback.
Clicking on a title with the right button opens a menu of options to share the song or to start the Radio and hear random music similar to the one clicked.
The preferences, in the Edit menu, allow you to configure integration with Facebook and with the iTunes and Windows Media Player programs.
In the Collection section, there are the songs saved on the computer, the mp3 files of the Music folder on the PC.
