Tool for fast actions on Windows

Computers would never have been easier if the mouse, the main interface between man and machine, had not existed.
Not even touch screens can make the mouse obsolete on normal Windows computers thanks to all the interactivity it is capable of.
Pressing the right mouse button on Windows in fact opens a menu with buttons capable of initiating fast actions on files and folders that, otherwise, would require more than one click.
In addition to the normal actions then you can add some customized commands thanks to some small free tools to be integrated into the Windows system.
In this list, we see 15 of the best tools to be installed on the PC (from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and 8) to bring up new actions to the options window that appears by pressing the right button .

By installing the following programs you can do the following quick actions with the mouse :
1) PinToStartMenu : by clicking with the right mouse button on a folder icon, you can choose the Pin to Start Menu option to make it appear as a quick link in the taskbar of the Windows desktop.
Since you probably won't be using this command so often, it appears only by pressing Shift-Right Key in the extended context menu.
2) AttrMenu : press the right mouse button to change the attributes of a folder or file.
Attributes are those visible by clicking on the properties of the file or folder, that is: Read only, Hidden, archived.
Installation note: extract the archive, right click on the Inf file and then on Install.
To uninstall it, it is the same thing by choosing Uninstall.
3) Copy Contents, to copy the contents of a file (text or image) without opening it, by clicking the option on the right-click menu.
4) QRM Plus : extract QRM plus and install the context menu item.
When you right click on the desktop or in an empty spot, copy the QRM Plus option to create a recovery point and to manage the recovery points (QRM Plus Manager).
5) Context Menu Editor for Windows 7 / Vista : with the installation of this small tool you can insert any personalized link to computer programs or even websites in the contextual menu of Windows for quick access.
It allows you to see these quick links only when the right mouse button is pressed together with the Shift key.
6) FileToFolder : to move some files into a folder, just select them with the mouse, press the right button and then choose the new File To Folder option.
This is really useful for organizing folders quickly, performing multiple actions with a single click.
7) RightLoad : with a right mouse click on an image you can choose to upload the selected file to Facebook, Flickr, ImgUR or other online services.
Among the available actions there is also the sending of files to VirusTotal, to check that it is not a virus.
In addition to this you can also use a different procedure to send files to SkyDrive or Google Drive with the right button
8) Append Date : press the right mouse button on a file or folder to add today's date to the end of the name.
The date formatting can be changed by following the guide in the readme.txt file that is included in the installation.
This tool is accompanied by sponsors who must be avoided to install.
9) Image Resizer : right click on an image or a group of photos to resize them according to the preset values.
10) Hard Link Shell Extension is a tool that requires some additional explanation and is very useful.
It allows you to create symbolic links to move files and folders from one disk to another.
The symbolic link, instead of pointing to the original file as a normal link does, moves the file making the computer believe that it remained where it was.
This is useful if there is little space on a disk to move program or system folders.
11) Ridnacs : with this tool you can immediately access a graph on the space used in the disk by the selected file or folder.
Ridnacs is one of the tools to view the space occupied by each folder and hard disk on the PC
12) TinEye : if you right-click on any image, you can start an internet search for similar images.
Tineye is one of the main sites for finding similar images
13) ChangeExt : right mouse button to change extension to one or more files together.
ChangeExt is also useful if you prefer not to view file extensions in Windows, but to have a quick way to get to know this technical information.
14) RightDelete is one of the programs to delete files safely and permanently and delete them from the disk forever.
With the installation of RightDelete, the definitive deletion action is just a mouse click (right click).
15) Restart Explorer : If Windows freezes and Windows Explorer does not respond, you can restart the explorer.exe process directly from the contextual menu by right-clicking on the desktop or on an empty spot.
16) Take ownership : you can take possession of a file or folder in order to have all the administration rights on those objects by simply pressing the right mouse button and choosing the relative action.
To install this option on the context menu, follow the guide "Full access and ownership (ownership) of files and folders in Windows".
17) FoldersPopup adds a menu to the middle mouse button, otherwise useless, to open your favorite folders.
In addition to these specific tools there are also other more generic tools for adding options to the context menu of the right button .
