There are many weather sites, which tell us the weather forecast for tomorrow, the next few days, which tell us the pressure, the dew point, wind humidity and many other useful information, but which are often vague on the thing that most interests that is, whether it rains or not. Eventually one looks at the weather forecast to know if it's raining or not and that's why iPhone apps like DarkSky have become so popular.
Rather than knowing how likely it will rain in Rome today, it is much more useful to know when exactly it is raining and for how long in a particular area or street of the city .

On the DarkSky.net website you can therefore know the precise rain forecasts per minute for your area.
The position can be automatically detected if allowed or indicated manually by writing the address.
You will then get information about the current weather and the forecast for the next hour, the next 24 hours and the next week.
To change the temperature from Fahrenheit to degrees Celsius, click the C in the upper right.
You can analyze and look every day of the week on the map to be able to see the expected rainfall every day and to see exactly how things are going during the day.
Forecast.io does not use existing weather services such as Weather Channel or other services that feed most of the sites and weather apps, but aggregates data from a variety of sources.
On the map in the center you can select the Regional situation and then press down on the Play button to see how the clouds move.
As mentioned above, on iPhone and Android you can get similar information with the Dark Sky app, unfortunately not free and available only on the American store.
Alternatively, however, there is Today Weather, with the same information as the Forecast.io website, which uses the same weather service and a very immediate and precise widget view to know whether it is raining or not.
The app also has a useful widget to know, in case of rain, and avoid inconvenience before taking the car or going out on foot.

On Android, among the apps that use data from the forecast.io site, there is Arcus Weather .
These applications work similarly to Dark Sky on iPhone, with the same super updated data per minute and notifications in case of rain.
