Solve badly uninstalled software and driver errors and manual removal

Uninstalling a program from Windows is a very simple operation, almost trivial in fact just go to My Computer -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs, choose the program you want to delete and press the " Remove " button.
Sometimes, however, when the remove button is pressed, the computer thinks a bit and then warns the user with a red cross pop-up, that it is impossible to remove that application.
At other times, on the other hand, the item relating to the program on the Application Installation list is eliminated, but in reality, without giving any warning, it has not removed anything .
Unfortunately, the uninstallers are developed by the same authors of the tool and sometimes "forget" to include all the files and all the registry keys from the removal.
Problems of this kind arise especially with those programs and applications distributed free and sponsored .
Windows is a nice operating system but it hides many variations that you need to know how to deal with from time to time and it is not at all simple.
Many tools are reviewed on blogs, also here on navigaweb.net every week 3/4 tools are recommended to improve, in theory, the use of computers and applications on the internet.
Other blogs then recommend 10 tools a day that do the same things without saying which is the best, according to them, they are all indispensable.
For heaven's sake, far from discouraging me from trying new programs, knowing and making mistakes serves to learn.
So we install and reinstall programs on programs often with complicated names that after a few days we forget because in practice they are useless.
Once in a while we notice that the start menu has become a long list of unknown applications so we open the uninstall menu and delete those programs that we never use.
In a few months the PC slows down, we continue to uninstall the superfluous but the situation does not improve; what to do?
First of all, use one of the programs to uninstall any program cleanly and completely .
In cases where there are errors in the uninstallation phase, for example similar to this " Unable to remove the application " or " Cannot find file filename.msi ".
In these cases you can use any tool to optimize Windows and remove the item from the installation menu and then proceed as described later in this article.
In other articles then we had seen how to update the drivers automatically and quickly and how to remove the old and hidden drivers .
In the end, both to remove a driver and to remove a program that did not want to know to uninstall it, you must proceed manually as described below.
Go to the folder C: / Programs and delete the folder relating to that program;
Go to the folder C: \ Users \ pomhe \ AppData \ Roaming and delete, if any, the folder related to that program;
Go to the C: \ Users \ pomhe \ AppData \ Local folder and always remove the folder for that program if it exists.
If you get an error message saying " unable to remove the file or folder " then you have to force the deletion with the Unlocker program.
Then you have to restart the PC and repeatedly press F8 during the restart and before the word Windows appears.
Boot into safe mode and use CCleaner and use the tool to uninstall the program to remove the reference of that software that has been uninstalled badly.
Nice annoyance, I know, in this procedure you can skip the passage of the safe mode in case the program in question does not load on startup, is not a driver and does not interfere with the system.
I would not seem perfectionist or paranoid, episodes like the ones described here occur two or three times a year at most, however I think it is important to remember that Windows maintenance is above all prevention and certain things, even if not in detail, it is always better to have them clear in the head.
In another post we have solved the problem of not installing a software or a program because there is already the previous version.
In other articles, how to eliminate registry keys no longer used to have a clean system and the best free registry cleaner software.
