Remember the position and size of windows in Windows 7

Before Windows 7, previous versions of Windows (xp and Vista), remembered the size and position of the windows that opened .
Basically, if I put a window with documents, small on the left, the next day, reopening the documents, I would see it there where I had put it.
For some reason, I think for stability problems, Windows 7 no longer does it therefore, for those who lack this function, we can download a small tool that solves this lack.
The windows I'm talking about are those of Windows, those with the folders and files inside or those of the explorer .
As you can see, if you open multiple folders in Windows 7 (Open a folder, go to tools and then in the options, select to open the folders in separate windows), they all appear, roughly, in the same place and with the same dimension.
We are certainly talking about subtleties, but certain things are worth knowing because, even if there is nothing indispensable, one must never resign oneself to inconveniences on the computer.
So, to avoid that the windows all open one above the other or in uncomfortable positions, forcing the user to have to move the windows by hand each time, it is better to save the layout of the windows so as to make them appear on the screen, each in a comfortable and different position .
ShellFolderFix is a handy utility that corrects this annoyance and remembers the size and position of open windows (always those of Windows Explorer, not of programs).
This tool allows you to open several explorer windows automatically, in the chosen position.
To download ShellFolderFix, simply extract the .zip file in a convenient location, perhaps by creating a link for the quick start at the bottom, and start the program or you can install it by downloading the .exe file.
After launching the application, it works in the background and is noticed with a small icon in the taskbar, near the clock.
For example, if every day you have to open several folders that contain files or work documents, you can save this configuration in ShellFolderView so, when you want, you can reopen them all together, in the same place.
When you want to keep the position of some open windows, just press the right button on the program icon near the clock and save the work area with a name.
To try the program, close everything, press the right button on ShellFolderFix, from the icon in the task bar and press Restore choosing the area saved before.
You can save as many workspaces as you want, for example, one for workbooks, one for music, one for photos and so on.
Among the keys there is also the one to close all the open windows at once or minimize them, always only those of Windows, not therefore the programs or the windows of the internet browser
As mentioned several times, it does not work with program windows (whose position is always saved by Windows anyway) and not even with special folders.
Cute, I'm using it so maybe there will be someone else to whom this application will be useful.
