Automatic disk cleanup on Windows with Ccleaner

More than once I have spoken of deleting temporary files from your computer, basically for two reasons:
1) Keep the PC efficient and fast, eliminating the so-called garbage or those unnecessary data in which the usage information of a program or Windows is stored.
2) For a matter of privacy, in order to delete the traces of the programs used, the web pages viewed and the documents or photos opened.
For disk cleaning we have seen that it is possible to use several more or less good programs depending on how deep you want to delete and how many times you want to clean your computer.
Among the many programs, which we are going to summarize quickly, the one that must always be ready is Ccleaner, the most popular and famous disk cleaning software .
Ccleaner can also be started automatically, to always keep the computer intact, clean and without excess data that can slow down operations.
In past articles we had seen that:
- Ccleaner is the best program to use to gain disk space by eliminating unnecessary files.
- Ccleaner is also one of the best free registry cleaners that eliminate unnecessary registry keys.
Just to delete temporary Windows files there are faster and easier portable programs.
For this last objective, if those programs are excellent to put on a USB stick and to be used on the computers of others, instead you must install Ccleaner on your computer which can also be used automatically, without launching it manually.
Meanwhile, I remember that Cleaner, among its main functions, operates the secure deletion of temporary files, history, cache, both of open files and of the internet browser and of many other programs that store information.
Many users use CCleaner to clean up their Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari and IE, so that no trace of the surfed websites remains.
Ccleaner (unlike other poorer programs) has never created damage or problems because it makes a selection of what can be eliminated, without ever removing important files.
For a CCleaner start you can think of an automatic execution of the program, not when the computer is turned on, when one does not want to wait, but when it is turned off .
Without any use of external software, you can simply create a shortcut to Cleaner on the computer desktop (right click on the program icon -> create shortcut on the Desktop) and add, after a space, the parameter / AUTO / SHUTDOWN .
To better explain me, if you right-click on the link, going to Properties, you can see the destination line with the path of the program which will be of the type " C: \ Program Files \ CCleaner \ CCleaner.exe " at the quotation mark, a space is added and / AUTO / SHUTDOWN is written.
From this moment, when you press on this link Ccleaner on the desktop, the disk cleaning starts in the background, without being seen on the screen and, at the end, the PC turns off automatically .
If only the / AUTO parameter was added, silent cleaning would start.
If you put this connection, only with Auto, without Shutdown, in scheduled operations (or Schedule activities), you could schedule disk cleaning at set times or when a specific event occurs.
All of this works for every version of Windows, XP, VIsta and Windows 7.
If still not done, absolutely, download Ccleaner and use it from time to time, you will see that the computer will thank you for cleaning.
