Publish your CV online to look for work and to find your CV on Google

Today, May 1st, is the workers' day but since many have very little to celebrate on this day, let's try, with this article, to see what the modern web offers, in support of job seekers, obviously always for free.
It will not be a post indicating traditional resources well known by all, we try here to address the problem from another point of view which, although perhaps too innovative, could prove successful.

Unfortunately, the Italian web landscape on the subject of work and above all on the search for a job is quite depressing.
Websites to find and find work, the main ones like Monster or Stepstone, often have professional search ads, badly placed, generic, pretentious and unrealistic.
The fault lies, both in the old setting of the sites themselves and of those who publish the ads, which are nothing more than the company employers. The point is that the evolution of the internet and, especially of its social component are, in Italy, seen as stuff for kids or that waste time while instead they could be used efficiently, both by those looking for employees and those looking for work.
As in the article that explains how to protect and control online reputation, those who frequent social networks like Facebook or Linkedin but also many others like HI5, MySpace, Plaxo or Xing and use them with their real name, searching on Google, will find themselves and their profiles at the top of the search engine results. Google has also recently published the profile of those who have an account, among the results and this because, by now their curriculum vitae, their history, personal and professional, can be published online, available to those in need.
Probably for many this point of view is difficult to understand but I believe that if the Internet is governed by Google, the best way to be found is to appear in Google with the evidence of what you can do (see also how to find out if you speak of a person with Google Alerts). A modern employer could today avoid posting ads on sites like Monster and rely on the search for professional figures directly through Google or through specialized social networks such as Linkedin, Xing and Plaxo.
In this post, therefore, we see some sites that allow you to write your CV and publish it online with a dedicated web page and with a Google Friendly setting, that is, with the possibility of appearing in the first places with the words written on the title of the CV. For example, if my CV was titled "Claudio Pomes Expert web consultant", it could happen that anyone who searches on Google, "Expert consultant on the web", will find, almost immediately, my complete CV. As a practical application then, to those who ask to send their CV, you could simply turn the link, the unique internet address where the complete, well-written CV is located, designed with neat and pleasant graphics and interactive thanks to the possibility of inserting if you want, photos, videos, documents and projects.
Some of these sites, among the best on the internet that allow you to publish your free online CV with a dedicated and unique web page are:
1) Linkedin, the well-known working social network allows you to convert your Linkedin profile into a Curriculum to be printed .
2) With a site, Visualize.me, you can create a resume with graphs and timelines.
3) Easy-CV, described on another page, is the only one of these sites to be entirely in Italian and allows you to fill in a curriculum vitae in the European format and to publish it on your own website, free of charge.
4) Resumonk is a site to create the online curriculum with a guided procedure, with the possibility of importing information from Linkedin, with 4 free graphic models and paid accounts to personalize the graphics more and save it in PDF. The curriculum remains online on the website for subsequent changes.
5) CVMaker is perhaps the best one, because it is professional and very easy to use. There are templates to choose from and many ways to customize the curriculum to be published online and share with links.
6) Visual CV allows you to create multiple CVs of different types together, with a variety of graphic models. You can also import your Linkedin profile and any multimedia elements such as videos, graphics, projects carried out in the past and much more.
7) I Need Resume is a site that allows you to write with a wizard and publish it online with beautiful professional graphics. After drawing up the CV, it can be downloaded to your computer as a PDF document to print it or it can be published on the internet in social networks or job search sites. Our curriculum can be modified at any time and kept private.
8) Resume Genius is a very well done site where you choose a model and fill in your CV step by step, following a very convenient guided procedure to add the correct information of a professional and well-ordered and formatted curriculum.
To close, I refer to another article, if you prefer to have a wider choice ranging from the CV in European format to many other models .
