Try Windows 95 via the web on your browser

For the nostalgic and the more curious, the operating system that changed the history of the world, Windows 95, which made PCs easy to use for everyone, was reproduced almost entirely on a website.
Only with Windows 95 have we been able to use all the things that still characterize Windows 10 today, that is, the Start menu, the taskbar, folders and option menus with the right mouse button.
The site manages to load Windows 95 as it did on the PCs of the past, compiled entirely in Javascript, without the need to install any plugins, with the support of the DosBox emulator.

To open Windows 95 via the web just go to the //win95.ajf.me/ site and try the web emulator.
The system is not perfect, it takes some time to load and can go wrong in certain situations, such as when trying to open Internet Explorer.
If an error appears in the initial load, you can try to open the site with Firefox.
You can open a DOS prompt, you can play Freecell, you can open other included programs such as Paint to draw and relive the rough but still effective functioning of the first Windows system that started the PC era.
