Schedule the sending of SMS and Email from Android

After talking about how to send messages programmed over time with Gmail, let's see now how you can do the same thing with messages on your smartphone and then decide to send an SMS message or an email at a specific time and day . Especially with SMS, since there is no way to program messages to be sent at a future time, a special application that works very well and is free to use becomes useful. For example, you can schedule birthday greetings at midnight and be the first, or you can schedule the sending of a particular message that you already know you need to send soon, but not now.

Do It Later, free to install on any Android smartphone, allows you to plan the sending of SMS, emails, phone calls, Twitter status updates and personal reminders . You can choose to send it at a specific time or within a time interval, send the same message every hour, every day, every week, every month or even every year and send the same SMS or Email to multiple recipients (this is a premium feature), even using predefined text templates.
The app is easy to use and from the main interface you can press the + button to find the programmed sending functions of an SMS message, an Email or to create a reminder, a phone call or a tweet on Twitter. It is not necessary to create an account or log in with credentials of any kind, the only thing required is to give the required permissions depending on the sending method chosen. For example, to send SMS, the app asks for permission to access the phone book and messages on the phone. You can then select one or more recipients, write the message and then touch the date and time items to choose when to send the message or you can touch the menu button (the one with three horizontal points) to select a predefined time. When finished, tap the checkmark in the upper right corner to schedule the message.
If you want to make it even easier, you can choose to use one of the predefined models by touching the water drop icon (on the upper right corner of the message writing box, and select the model to use or touch the + to create a new model.
In this way it is possible to program an SMS with the Do It Later app and at least until the day when this functionality will be included in Android, there is no simpler solution than this.
As mentioned above, the app is free, but if you want to delete the advertisements you can touch the golden ribbon icon in the main Do It Later window to buy the premium version without ads and with additional functions.
