Frequent problems with Android smartphones Fixed

Android is the operating system, developed by Google, of almost all smartphones that are not iPhones and has been chosen by various manufacturers because it is open source and because it is very reliable, stable and secure.
As with all computers, however, even the best smartphones can have problems related to the applications and functionality of the operating system which can freeze, prevent basic operations or show error messages.
To collect the most frequent cases of problems suffered by Android smartphones, let's see how to solve most of the errors on Samsung, LG, HTC, Google Nexus and all the others .
1) Google Play errors
Sometimes the Google Play store crashes or prevents updating and installation of applications due to failure to connect to the store.
In another article we saw all the solutions for errors in the Google Play Store
2) Problem of insufficient space on the device
Some Android smartphones have a rather limited internal memory, which can be expanded (on some mobile phones) by SD cards, but which tends to fill up equally.
When the internal storage is almost full, the phone can become slower, the applications close suddenly and it becomes impossible to install or update the apps.
In some cases, however, the error of insufficient space occurs even if a fair amount of free memory is indicated in the settings.
The easiest way to free up space is to uninstall unused applications, but this may not be enough.
Some apps like Chrome, Facebook and Spotify store a lot of temporary data in the phone's memory which can be automatically deleted by applications like Ccleaner or Clean Master.
All the details on the operations to be performed to solve the problem of insufficient space on Android are in another article.

4) Install applications without using Google Play
Not all Android applications are published on the official Google Play store.
Some are in other stores, others instead can be downloaded individually from the developer sites in the form of APK files.
To install an app with the APK file you need to authorize unknown sources in the settings -> security .
Be careful though, because installing apps outside of Google Play can bring viruses that compromise Android stability and data security in the phone.
5) The phone goes slow and takes a long time to open and close applications
Older and cheaper Android smartphones can have lag problems and slowdowns caused by the fact that RAM memory fills up quickly when you open multiple apps together.
In other articles we talked about:
- How to manage active apps in Android, processes and RAM of the mobile phone
- Have fast and Lag-free Android if your mobile is slow
Keep in mind that with Android it is not necessary to use a task manager and, as already explained, closing the background apps on the mobile phone is useless and not necessary.
6) The battery drains quickly
The battery is always the most serious problem for all smartphones, because the screen is large, because the applications are increasingly advanced and complex and because the use of the internet on the mobile phone drains a lot of energy.
In another article we saw the most useful Android apps to manage and save cell phone battery.
In other guides we have instead explained why the battery of the mobile phone lasts so little and which are the apps that drain the most battery.
7) The WiFi connection does not work
Sometimes the Wifi receiver of the Android mobile phone can get blocked thus preventing the mobile phone from connecting to the internet.
We have already talked about these problems too, listing the solutions if Wi-Fi on Android does not connect to the network or the internet.
In this regard, we have also made a complete list of Android apps to enhance wireless reception and test Wifi.
8) Synchronization errors
It may happen that on the mobile the synchronization of Google services on the smartphone is blocked causing the interruption of push notifications.
In another article, all the ways to fix sync errors on Android
9) If there are too many unnecessary and annoying notifications
Each Android app is capable of sending notifications on the top bar, to signal the receipt of a new message or for other types of alerts.
It is therefore important, to avoid the appearance of too many warnings and prevent unnecessary ones, to know how to use the Android notification bar.
10) Problems watching videos and movies
It may be that a video with a particular format is not visible on the screen of the Android tablet or smartphone if you do not have the right application.
You can then install VLC Player, MX Player or another of the best apps to watch videos and movies on Android.
11) Malware and virus problems
Android is a safe system, but if you start looking for tricks to win games, browse illegal sites or download applications outside the Google Play Store, it is easy to install a virus that compromises the functionality of the phone.
If the Android phone is infected with malware, then it will not be enough to uninstall the app that is responsible for it but you will also need to install an antivirus.
We have seen which are the best antivirus on Android reporting CM Security, Malwarebytes and Lookout, perhaps the best choice, free, light and capable of completely removing malicious applications.
12) Generic app errors
When some apps show continuous error warnings, the best way to solve the problem is to uninstall this app.
In another article, however, we saw several solutions for app errors that did not respond, stopped, closed, blocked .
However, if the errors prevent you from using your mobile phone and get to remove the failed app, you can use the safe mode.
Safe mode allows users to disable all applications from automatic startup so they can be removed later.
To use Safe Mode on Android, press and hold the shutdown button until the " Shut Down " button appears.
Tap and hold on Turn off until the pop-up appears to restart in safe mode.
13) The phone no longer starts
Even when the error is so serious as to prevent the phone or tablet from turning on, you can always reset and restore Android which is a delicate but not difficult operation.
If you have other problems on the Android smartphone, leave a message here and try to solve it if possible.
